I have stayed at the Ritter three times now over seven years. It is in a fantastic location and unbelievably cheap. It is old and simple but clean and welcoming. Sure it can be noisy on a Saturday night but i had no trouble sleeping with the double glazed windows shut. I stayed four nights and one evening at about... More

Do not stay here. Unfriendly staff (everyone I met), when I came the throw bed sheets downs the stairs (a picture fall of the wall because if that) and almost hit me. The room smells like a mix from cigarette & cheap deodorant, I had an whatever bug (in January) in my bathroom. I slept on a towel, the floor... More

Actually I'm quite surprised by such a great amount of bad reviews. Surely, this is not the best or the most luxurious hotel in the world, but what would you expect for such a price? As for me, I was quite happy with everything apart from the poor wifi (it was working well only in the reception area and on... More

This is, bar none, the worst hotel I've ever spent a night in. And I have spent nights in extremely bad places. The room was filthy, including what looked to be menstrual blood on the sheets and a sticky substance on the pillows. The bathroom was splattered with weird grey stuff, there were feces caked onto the toilet, and pubic... More

Booked without full research and regretted our two nights. It is NOT a professionally run place. Our issues: - nobody answered the locked door when we first arrived - we called the telephone number and eventually someone answered and let us in - standing in reception to check in the guy started shouting upstairs to a female colleague, ignoring us... They arranged for me to be accomodated in another hotel which was nowhere near the sachenhausen area. We were put in the "Willy hotel" near the read light... More

The price was amazing (€80 for a triple room), unfortunately, it was a little bit too much in the thick of things. What would have been perfect for folks looking to go out on the nightlife and do some drinking was less than perfect for my parents and me since we just wanted to get some sleep before awaking at... I paid 44 euros per night and I got a room that was worth 44 euros per night. It was a small awkward room on the third floor facing the street. The weather was hot and there was no air-conditioning so I had to sleep with the window open. As all the bars in the area are open late, then... More

This is, without a doubt, the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. They have earned every one of their Terrible reviews on Trip Advisor. It does not look anything like the photos on their website. Stained carpets, rooms that smelled like raw sewage, drunks outside the hotel until 0515 and then the final culmination of the Polizei addressing the... More

The price convinced me to book the hotel for 2 nights. I asked for a quiet room, 3.rd floor. Room was so dirty an old that I wanted to leave immediately. I stayed 1 night and checked out the next day. Hotel is right in the party district of Alt Sachsenhausen so it was very loud and I could not... More
