Right from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The owner took the time to show us how the parking and door locks worked. She even walked with us to our room. The room was spacious and clean with a modern shower room and a little balcony with views over the Rhine. It was really warm and... More

Tripadvisor says Rudesheim, whereas the hotel is really in Assmannshausen, which is one stop by train or a few minutes by car away. The owners are very friendly, the room we had was at the front with a view of the castle on the opposite side of the Rhine and was quite large. The hotel is immaculately clean and nicely... More

Stayed here with my sister as part of our German GP trip, what a lovely hotel with fantastic views. Our room was huge and because we had requested twin beds, something they do not have, when we came back on the Saturday they had put another bed into our room. Breakfasts were great and the owner always let us in early and the... More

Stayed here for the 2016 German GP, loved the location with vies across the Rhine. Very helpful staff, rooms comfortable and the restaurant served very good food and the helpful staff were attentive without being overbearing. I would love to come back to this area to explore the towns and villages along the Rhine and would have no worries about... More

This is a pleasant hotel in a lovely position on the banks of the Rhine and ideally situated for the quay for the river cruisers. There is a large car park which is free for hotel guests. Bedroom with balcony and Rhine view was comfortable if a little on the small side & could possibly benefit from a little updating.... More

Found and booked this hotel on the internet. Looked good in the photos and is very pleasant. Slightly out of town but not a problem. The rooms are clean and a good size, but being west facing do get hot in the afternoon (was 30’ while we were there) but a fan is provided and the hotel keep the blinds... More

This was the first hotel my wife and I stayed at after arriving in Germany for a belated honeymoon and we couldn't have picked a better place. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff treated us like we were their only customer. The room was clean and spacious and the view from the hotel was exceptional. It... More

I have stayed at this hotel twice over a 6 year time period. Both times were excellent - you can't beat the location, which sits directly on the Rhine with a beautiful view of a castle. This time, the man who checked us in was extremely nice, giving us a suggested afternoon of activities. The tram up the hill is... More

We stumbled across this place a few years ago and keep returning. The view is fabulous, and though we have not stayed at the hotel, we thoroughly enjoy the restaurant. Great food, great pastries and spirits, and we love the Ruedesheimer Cafe, made of a shot of Asbach flamed in the cup, doused with coffee, whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.... More

“Book a room at the front site, in the morning shadow but in the whole afternoon Sunshine a volonte, rooms in front have also a balcony and no...the very loud railroad tracks are on the other side of the Rhine river, they don't bother!”

“Rooms overlooking the Rhine are a treat. Many Brits like a hot drink first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Many hotels in Germany do not have kettles in the rooms so remember to pack your travel kettle”
