Great food, menu choices brilliant for time of day. Excellent service. You could choose from a sandwich menu, main menu & afternoon tea. Black pudding sausage lovely, and pork belly tastes on the plate combine beautifully

As stated good food but i hate having to keep chasing and informing staff that we are ready to order each particular course. Staff need to keep there eye on diners and pay attention to when they have eaten and how long before going back to the table for orders. 2 hours were spent and wen only had 2 courses!...

Thought we would try the Holly as we had heard good reports. Decor was of good standard service good also. Starter excellent. But sorry the roast lunch badly let you down. Roast potatoes like frozen ones the beef well half burnt because we didn't want pink meet. When you are paying top money you expect top gravity. This we didn't...

Visited mid week for some food, good location just off the m6 motorway and plenty of parking. Decent menu, although missing a few traditional dishes we thought like lasagne. We used a taste card, so 2 for 1, no problems with that and made the bill extremely reasonable! Food was lovely and lots of it, setting was very nice, although...

Went here yesterday afternoon for a late lunch, we entered a very warm, cosy, clean restaraunt, where we were quickly shown a table, ordered drinks and given a daytime specials menu. Starters of onion soup with bit of French stick( not warm bread roll as stated) and 3 cod coujons on a handful of lettuce arrived. Ok nothing to write...

Staying locally for a few days and popped in for a quick evening meal with the kids. Made to feel very welcome and were well looked after. Food was quick, good quality and beautifully presented. 5* given to the two members of staff who looked after us - nothing was too much trouble!

Visited with a group of friends for lunch and was not disappointed. The stake and the chicken lunch sandwich were both excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Called on way back from Barton grange and would revisit.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my mum and 2 young children (3 & 5). The room was spacious, beds very comfortable and huge and a very modern and large bathroom. The staff were lovely and helpful, helped us take our stuff to our room and to check in early. We also had Sunday lunch there and it was...

We were passing by here one day last year and I couldn't remember the name and just found it now! I always remembered it because we just saw it on passing and it looked okay so came in and got lunch! We enjoyed it that much and the prices were very reasonable. It was really modern and well decorated inside...
