I stayed in this hotel for one night. It is lovely and convenient -- 500 m from the Dom, etc. However, there were several problems that seriously marred my stay. I reserved a deluxe room, but my room did not have all the features advertised for a deluxe room. The Wireless (WLAN/WIFI) did NOT work in my room. I was...

We have been here twice for business trips (3 years apart), and the location is good - it is a 20 minute walk away from the trade fair, MesseKöln. The breakfast is good although you have to flag down the staff a bit to get more coffee. Rooms are clean and well-appointed. Good strong showers too. Nice little bar area...

This hotel was quite nice for a stay of four nights for two people in a double room. Everything is close by. The double room was well-appointed and of medium size. I did look in a friend's room which was a single and it is the smallest room I have ever seen. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly.

Short before arriving in Germany we had finally decided not to split our trip between Cologne and Dusseldorf but instead to remain in Cologne for the whole trip. Therefore we had to find another hotel for the rest of our days as the SENATS hotel where we have booked the first two days was almost double price on short notice....

Good well decorated rooms with generous bathrooms. Rooms very clean. Breakfast is not lavish but of good quality. About 1km from the main train station, which was great as we had to go for an exhibition in Dusseldorf, and it was very convenient. The main shopping street Hohestrasse is just on the other side of the Dom / Train station...

Nicely located hotel which was ok, however not good value at €140/ngt. If you do stay here try and avoid the ground level rooms, and make sure you request non smoking as quite strong 'odour' in those that are (I arrived too late to change)

I stayed at this hotel for one night in July of this year and liked it very much. It's in a great location and when I say that I don't mean it's on the same block as the cathedral or the train station but it's just a several minute walk to either. I found the immediate vicinity of the Dom...

My oldest daughter and I recently stayed here on a World Cup trip that stopped in Cologne. The hotel is location very close to the main train station, and the Cologne Cathedral - which seemed to be the epicenter of activity for the city. The hotel was next to a church, so the ringing bells were a wake up call...

This small hotel is located within a five minute walk from the main train station in Cologne. The building is old and charming, and the interior of the hotel and the rooms have been fully modernized. It is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a small, convenient, clean, modern, and safely located hotel in the downtown...

In the Heart of the City Cologne has so many attractions to offer: from ancient monuments such as the Cologne Cathedral, the Old Town with its cute little shopping streets and interesting museums to the hot spots of nightlife and the stunning panorama of the Rhine. And best of all - these attractions are within walking distance from our Classic Hotel Harmonie. You can even reach the famous Cologne Trade Fair in about 20 minutes by foot and by the way enjoy the fabulous view over the Rhine. The main railway station is only a stone's throw away from the hotel, so that the ride to and from the Cologne-Bonn airport by public transport takes only a little more than a quarter of an hour. By car, the distance of 18 kilometers neither is a problem because the nearby motorway offers quick and easy access for our motorized guests. ... more   less

“Do not *EVER* prepay for this hotel, so you at least have the option of turning around after you come and see the room for yourself.”
  • Walls are all scratched.
  • Paint is breaking off, literally. Must be decades old.
  • Showers are rusty. On the upside, no significant mold growth.
