Contemporary design hotel in the old city of Dortmund, superbly located. Spacious, clean and quiet rooms with view on the main street, featuring flat screen TV but no minibar. Comfortable beds, clean and bright bathroom with rain shower, good quality towels. Bar is available at the lobby, breakfast is optional. Public parking garage is very nearby, at 10 euro for 24 hours.

This hotel names itself boutique hotel. So I started really thinking about what is again meant when a hotel is a boutique hotel. For me it is a hearty atmosphere, being central and being built in a stunning design. Staff is very friendly, and it’s extremely central. Just I expect more from a boutique hotel in terms of design, well being, coziness. The access is not easy. You cannot Park there directly in front of the hotel not even stop there and the hotel starts in the upper level. The design is average but modern. The colors of yellow and black are dominant. The smell of cleaning remedy not very welcoming. The lobby is a way thru to the rooms. The breakfast area in the morning smells from the cooking. It is just misleading. Not boutique style.

I visited Dortmund for an exhibition and I know that prices will be to the high side. Nevertheless I paid €419 for a room which does not deserve more than €60. Small room, no fridge, receptionists that were the waitress and the cleaning ladies as well. The advantage of the hotel is its location (city center). Fully disappointed

Really clean & new rooms, excellent location, and nice enough staff. there is free parking on the street overnight 19:00-09:00. i was there on a busy day in Dortmund, and this place worked fine .. rooms nice and quiet too. No problems here :-)

Found this hotel at a OK rate in a busy weekend in Dortmund. Breakfast OK, but not The best choice of fresh fruit, smoothies or cereals. Design and everything look pretty good, but seems a bit «cheap» when you turn up in person. TV had 100s of channels that was not available, and pixels in a lot of channels. No heating/cooling in The room. The room was clean, but at the same time very dusty on surfaces, table etc. Location near shopping malls and trainstation. If you only need a OK bed and get the room at a OK rate its just fine.

Stayed there for one night, during a business trip. Staff very helpful and kind, room incredibly clean, modern and comfortable. Could have chosen breakfast, but instead opted to go out, so I don't know how that was, but I'm sure it met expectations. Great location!

Very good standard of the room. Bed and room very clean and fresh. Clean and large bathroom. Fresh white towels. Fast WiFi. Unfortunately, very poor staff. Buy something at the lobby bar nearly impossible. I felt like an intruder.

The major draw for this hotel is the location. It is in walking distance of pretty much everything – restaurants, shops, bars, the Football Museum and great transport links to Westfalenhallen and Westfalonstadion. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable with a modern décor and staff who were friendly enough. The room, although smaller than others, was big enough for our needs for the weekend and provided most of the basic facilities we needed (soap, shampoo, hairdryer, coffee machine, safe). The bathroom was modern, the bed comfortable. One thing missing was air-con, but I do wonder how often it would be needed. We stayed on a glorious weekend and had no problems with opening the window for a little temperature control, but I wonder if some may find this an inconvenience, particularly with the odd reveller passing by. We also didn’t have breakfast here, so I cannot comment on that. If you are looking for a good base for a weekend in Dortmund, I would say that this is a very good option.…

This hotel is a converted office building. The location is central but the entrance is an office lobby with a small lift and bad signage. After climbing the stairs you get to a funky designed reception area with a grumpy person sitting at an office desk. Check in was prettty painful, no wife code information given. At first glance the room looked ok but lots of problems. You can't control the heating and you can't open the windows as it is on a very noisy street. My view was of a derelict office building. The shower head was swinging in the wind, bathroom had nowhere to hang towels and no heating. Bed was ok but it took up most of the room. The rooms look good in the photos but have been done very cheaply. Given the prices I would say it is not good value on the room alone. My main negative experience was the booking and after service. I had made a genuine mistake and booked right day for the wrong month. When I called to see if it was possible to change it for the correct date I was told the right person was not available to authorise this and encouraged to rebook for the correct date at a much higher rate. I naively assumed that in a service industry, and considering they had got my business anyway, they would do the right thing. But no, I was just told to get lost. Since then have tried emailing and been given various hints that a refund may be possible but then these are not followed through. I made a mistake I know but I didn't have to rebook with them and they got my business. In a service business sometimes you have to do the right thing and clearly this hotel chain does not value its customers which is a shame and only fair I warn other travellers.…
