Every stay in this hotel is a pleasure. Stuff is very helpful and attentive. There is wide choice of food for breakfast and they have a good selection of wine. Aircondition works!!! We are looking forward our next visit.

Consciously looking forward to my getaway. Somewhat disappointed by the lack of gyal and the amount of workers with dead trims. Not impressed. Stop saving chat. Just seen Dave Tennant at the bar, scratch my previous comment... what a place!

I stayed here with my son and a mate whilst attending a Borussia Dortmund fixture. The Ibis Styles is a clean comfortable no thrills hotel that is ideal for a short stay. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel has a decent bar that stays open late. Breakfast was included as well, and was a self service continental type. Only slight snag is that it is a little way from the City centre, but is reachable by local train and a ten minute walk. Highly recommended .

This place is OK for one, maybe two nights. However, in my opinion it is quite overpriced. I paid 150 Euro for 2 nights - definitely more than it was worth (breakfast not even included). The room was clean. The shower was clean and of good size, that's the two positive points. The room is rather small, no space to open two suitcases without blocking all the ways. The bed was not that comfortable, especially because of the mattress. Way too thin. As I sad, the rolm was clean and basicslly everything was allright - just the price is not right, in my opinion.

Stop off en route. For us location is great - minutes off the highway. Importantly is that we can't hear same said highway in the room. Nice, warm, clean, not sure we can ask for much else. This time we walked into the centre about 10 minutes to grab some food. You could get a takeaway delivered as some people had. Second visit and we would stop again if required no problem. Lobby bar for a drink if you want, free tee and coffee as well in the lobby night and day. Minutes from the foodie/ retail park if you wanted to ride out for food as well.

Spent 2 nights here, warm, clean rooms. Seems to be inside a large warehouse which means outside the room in the corridor (ground floor) is freezing cold. But in the public area through the main doors warm and welcoming. Hotel is 15 mins drive from central Dortmund, on the west side, hotel located right next to the motorway. No motorway noise however rooms can be noisy as thin walls not sound proofed. Ample free parking when we stayed, safe as off main road hotel located down a lane . Wheel chair access into hotel. No wardrobe as such but shelving and a peg to hang your coat on. Spacious and well lit rom. Clean towels and shower / shampoo dispenser. No restaurant on site - however decent Pizza café 5 minute walk from hotel . very friendly efficient service and excellent pizza cooked to order Good & plentiful buffet breakfast. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but free tea & coffee available on a 'serve yourself' basis. This was constantly replenished. Hotel wi-fi connection free and excellent . TV in the room but no English channel. It is what it is and it does it well but if you are booking this hotel for central Dortmund, then you're clearly not doing your research well enough... …

Good looking hotel, very tidy, nice clean rooms with air conditioning. Breakfast was very tasty, all plates were full all the time, we didn't have to wait for anything to be brought in. Friendly waiters. The only minus was no option to get food in the evening around 10 pm. We had to go to McDonald few kilometers from the hotel.

This is not a first time of my stay here, and in general my opinion is good. Staff is really friendly, clean rooms and reception. However, there are some points what Hotel could look to improve. Heating in room what I stayed in last time wasn't well- and we had 17*C during the night time. We have been there for 1 night so I did not asked for changing the room. Also on breakfast - it could be bit more warm food to choose and fresh bread as 2nd time when I had dried sandwiches. Overall- good place with great location when traveling, easy check in/out, maintained standards of hotel customer service.
