Dear Tureikis, thanks for your review about your stay in our B&B Hotel Dortmund-Messe! Due to Covid-19 our reception opening times adjusted. We are sorry that you have not seen any staff! Unfortunately actually we can not offer in all our Hotels our comprehensive breakfast-buttet. As alternative we have our breakfast to go in sweet or hearty. If you need an invoice please contact always our Hotel direct. The staff will be glad to help you! Best regards B&B Hotels Germany GmbH - Head Office

Myself and my son have stayed with B&B before in Milan for football at the San Siro. This year we are visiting the Signal Iduna.
Rooms are clean, tidy, well stocked. Breakfast is sufficient and well presented and the location and value is excellent.
We had a room with a sunny view.

I stayed for 5 nights as every year for a trade show at the Westfalenhallen and I love this place. The rooms are small but comfy, the cleanliness is top notch and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is plenty and offers a lot of variety and public transportation is right in front of the door.

Came here for a England vs Germany friendly, the hotel is in a great location, right next to the Dortmund ground and only 3-4 stops on tram from the city centre.
The hotel it's self was clean, beds were quite comfy so all round a good stay

I was in Dortmund to watch A football match. The hotel is very close to the stadium and share the excitement and atmosphere of the fans on match day. The rooms are small, but adequate and well designed. Reception can be be better and friendlier. Also very close to the subway.

As a member of the B& B Club, you are promised that you will get 10% at certain restaurants nearby, we went to the Argentinean restaurant who almost lies on the other side of the street, but here they did not know to this Agreement even though I had paper with the agreement, they said that why should they give the price reduction because we came from the hotel, they had almost fully booked every day so they did not have the few customers it would provide. I've paid is to get the Clubcard in the expectation that it pays using the offers that come with, but here you will be ripped off.

We traveled to Dortmund for a soccer game and were looking for a hotel that would be convenient to the stadium. This hotel fit the bill in every way. We took the train in to Dortmund and the hotel was easily accessed via metro - the stop is just across the street from the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were pleased to see that the stadium is visible from the hotel and accessed via a pedestrial walk way (get your beer and brat close to the hotel - it's cheaper than close to the stadium).
As for the hotel itself, it is a very tidy and modern hotel. Rooms have keypads for entry so you don't have to keep track of a key. The room was compact, but sufficient. Note that they don't supply a hair dryer. The pillows are pretty flat, but you can fold them over for a little more loft. Beds are comfortable with individual duvets and blankets.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Dortmund for a game.

Room Tip: We stayed in a "french bedroom" and it consisted of two twin beds pushed together.

Overall very nice but two small points need to be said. First, if you want internet, its like many locales I noticed in this trip were you need to receive a text in your phone with a code to get access to the internet. That is fine and all if you have a German phone, but mine didn't even work in Germany and my friends phone would have cost a lot to get a text, so so much for free internet. But thankfully someone at the front desk kindly authorized my internet after I submitted my info with my non-working number.
The second point is what cost them a few knocks on service. We were only there for one night, and we of course didn't expect room service to come by. At 9:30 or so, we were laying in bed and someone opened our door and came part way in. We later realized it was the cleaning later. Then later, we were hurriedly packing to get out by the late checkout time, and the cleaning lady knocked on the door and asked us when whether we were leaving soon, even though we had a whole 15 minutes before we had to be out.

Thr room was pretty good, with a large bathroom. If you are going to a Dortmund match, you couldn't get a better location; people taking public transit get off and cross right in front of the hotel. Breakfast wasn't amazing, but there isn't much nearby to have instead.
