Stayed here for one night and the service was fantastic. Check in staff were very friendly and were bilingual, we had a good chat in English and German while I was checking in. The room was really nice and very premium. Location was fantastic and an easy walk from Dortmund Hbf/City Centre. It's very close to the Westfalenstadion as well as the rest of the Westfalenpark. My room cost €80 for one night, which was a little pricey, but still very nice so it was a good treat to come back to after exploring the city.

I travelled with my husband and almost four year old. We had two nights at Hotel Drees and it was lovely. Clean, great breakfast, lovely pool, comfortable room, and great food. The staff couldn't have been nicer.

This family run hotel remains my favourite place to stay when in Dortmund. Over the years it has remain constant in quality and service - its location is fantastic and cellar bar a great place to hang out. I can highly recommend it.

+1
The hotel is nice and its plus is the location, being situated at walking distance from the Signal Iduna Park stadium. Also close to Dortmund City center (2 subway stops), we took a walk there, not more than 20 minutes. I want to offer the best grade to the restaurant (delicious dishes at dinner and great breakfast) and to hotel services, both roomservice and front desk reception. Staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but simple and not very large, with a small bed and lousy pillows. The cover was not sufficient to keep us both warm at night.

It is a good comfortable hotel with wonderful restaurants. The best thing about the hotel was the breakfast. I got the room 530 which was basically 2 rooms attached. Rooms were clean and good but not luxurious. The reception and staff was very friendly and cooperative. Some renovation was going on and i had to cross the corridor from the reception to the other building where my room was located. There was huge mess in the corridor due to renovation and lot waste particles got stuck to my shoes made my room dirty making it an unpleasant stay. Location of hotel is good not very far from centre. Good place to stay just make sure there is no renovation going on.

the hotel is correct, but it is not a 4 sterns hotel - the staff is very friendly in general - good location, close to the centre - rooms are rather small, old, a bit dark and scarcely equipped - bathroom is very small and old - WIFI is there, but bad connection (continuous interruptions, so that Skype, Video or whatsapp conferences are not possible) - breakfast buffet is ok. Opening hours: 6h15. Don't come at 6h13, you will welcomed in a rather unpleasant way as I was (this is not acceptable) - bed is very hard

We stayed in the hotel for a long weekend whilst visiting the Dortmund Messe. Although we booked into the Ring hotel our room was in the adjacent hotel, which forms part of the Ring Hotel. We found the staff at check in to be very helpful & polite, as were the staff throughout the hotel. Our room was on the 1st floor & we tried a waterbed. Unfortunately this was a big mistake as it is not possible to control the thermostat on the bed or so we were advised by reception & this weekend was a very warm weekend & to top it off the air-conditioning did not work either, I asked to be moved but this apparently was not possible. The restaurant was excellent, we went for the menu & enjoyed it thoroughly, it was plentiful & the quality was of a very high standard.

The hotel is quite nice; however, there is a lot of junk left around the corridors which could be tidied up. The Spa is very basic, it was in the basement of the hotel and we struggled to find the lights! The room was simple and comfortable, a few more pillows would be nice! In the morning for breakfast the restaurant manager was really rude, she abruptly moved my wife from the window seat for no reason!! On check-out again very rude, no manners, not even a good morning! No I won't be paying this hotel a second visit ;(
