Great location for visiting Signal Iduna Park, easy walk to the stadium. Very friendly staff. Parking available. Rooms were basic but comfortable. Hotel was very busy so we reserved a table for dinner after the match. Very good food and service. Good breakfast also.
Weird experience. I understand we are in Covid times but the service and offerings in the restaurant were very up and down. Food itself was good and tasty, but service levels made no sense. Getting a drink took forever, when the bar was empty, and the drip, drip of the food side plates and accompanied elements was bizarre. I can imagine this would be good, but I can only rate as I found this week
parking in the area is not so easy, but they have a parking garage (not free), reception was friendly and swift elevator was protected (you need your room key to activate it) room was compact but nice and complete, airco was not silent but ok (for sleep I turned it off) tv had a lot of stations (but not all worked) in the morning breakfast was also well prepared and nice selection unfortunately due to covid the spa and bar was closed check ut was also swift so all in all nice relaxed stay
Well, we stayed there to have a place on walking distance to the Signal Iduna Park. And yes, the location is simply perfect when you want to watch a BVB game. Another positive: the staff at the reception desk was truly friendly and very helpful indeed. The rooms however would require a renewal, a modern touch. Beds are comfortable, but the design, furniture and colours are simply not up-to-date anymore, and the bathroom is very tiny. Price is too high for what you get, probably especially on Bundesliga weekends and considering that (at the moment) you share a view to a construction site (at least windows are good, you don't hear anything). It feels a bit like staying at a "cash cow" of a hotel chain.
The location of the hotel is very convenient and both the hotel facilities, the rooms and the service is great. You feel really welcome in this hotel. Good beds, good bathroom and enough space and furniture to work or relax. For me the best option in Dortmund!
The beds were super comfy. The shower was a little small and awkward, but we figured it out. The staff were all friendly. When our train didn't leave until late at night, they let us hang out in the lobby for a few hours to charge out phone. Of course we ate dinner there as well. The food was good!
The hotel is an excellent choice for travelers - about 5 min. drive fro the city center and the train station (or about 30 minutes of walking.). More-or-less same distance to some major Dortmund attractions - the Zoo, Botanical Gardens and Westaellanpark. Rooms are functional and clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and definitely consider it again next time we're in Dortmund.
Less than 10 minutes from the main station or 25 minutes from the airport, this hotel is ideal for a business stay. Clean, functional rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Near to lots of restaurants.
This hotel offers good accommodation, particularly for visitors to the Westfalenhalle. You won´t get much closer. The rooms are nice, the beds are good. I would however strongly suggest that the hotel replace the towels offered in the bathrooms and look at the wash process. The sets I had in my room did not smell fresh and were grey and well worn. Breakfast is plentiful unless you hit the rush hour, whcih is from 0700 to 0800. Between those hours the breakfast room gets very full, (You may be left waiting because no-one will let you sit at their half empty table), and the buffet is empty in places due to the onslaught of guests. The personnel is friendly and helpful but the breakfast room is "just small". I paid €195 per night which did not include breakfast. It is higher than most cities in Germany where I have stayed lately. …
Me and a friend booked the hotel via Best-Travel.de , we were visiting Dortmund to watch Borussia Dortmund. we chose this hotel because it is close to the ground and it didn't disappoint.it is within 5 minutes of the ground. Due to an early flight to Dortmund we arrived at the hotel around 10.30, the hotel was very clean and well presented. The staff on the desk spoke English and was very helpful.they allowed us to check in early and go to our rooms. The room was nice. It had 2 separate beds, tv with sky sports bundesliga , a desk if you wanted to do work or sit with a laptop. there was a wardrobe with plenty of space, a safe that was easy to work. A mini fridge stocked with drinks. The toilet and shower were in one room and was a little cramped but did the job. Breakfast was included in our booking and was nice, there was a good choice of food that you can pick and im sure there would be something for everybody. dinner was a little expensive for what we got but was very nice. the bar is a little small and gets quite busy on match days. There is a building site out front, but it didn't seem to bad. Overall i would defiantly stay here again and i would recommend for anybody that is visiting Dortmund to watch Borussia Dortmund.…
