Staff very friendly . If the breakfast buffet which proceeds will be equal care on request about ( the need to demand , we found not bad ) For just 7 € breakfast is really ok . Delicious wholemeal roll . While there is something missing in width and depth in terms of the offer ( yogurt to cereal, scrambled eggs / bacon , egg was not freshly cooked and not warm, but a hard-boiled , cold ) , but what there was was tasty . Room absolutely great for the price . Despite BVB / Liverpool GAME on the day really fair . In contrast, other hotels in Dortmund were almost outrageous !!! Bed very comfortable , room temperature perfect . Warning : For adults, many flowering shrubs and trees around the hotel . . The nature lovers who is not allergic , it would . Free WiFi, easy going staff, sufficient parking space (free!) and located right next to the Volksgarten Mengede, with a specially designed Dog-playground (fully fenced around so you can let men's best friend off the leash) in it. Also the hotel is very dog-friendly. Breakfast is small scale but sufficient and optional if you have other means. The hotel is located in a quiet suburb of Dortmund called Mengede, yet only a few minutes drive from the Autobahn (motorway). Also accomodates single travelers.
