Excellent location great staff from arriving to departing a must to visit really enjoyed the pool, sauna and steam room. Hotel has a lovely atmosphere and very relaxing, car park at the property as well so suited our three day stay and we will be going back in the near future.
Family trip with my son to Dortmund. Stayed at the excellent Radisson Blu Hotel where we were treated like Kings! (my son's quote). Staff friendly, food excellent and service excellent. we will be returning!
This hotel is nice if you plan to go to a nearby convention. There is a decent pool, so you might want to bring your swimsuit - or go to the sauna (no swimsuit allowed). The food was nice, so I also recommend the breakfast -book it up front for a discount. We did had a few confusing hickups during our stay (long wait for dinner & a computer crash upon checkout); but I believe that will be an exception.
Bathroom had a terrible smell, beds most uncomfortable Not a single English movie or series channel, only bbc and cnn Shower had no pressure. Staff not helpful in finding things to do in the area and not pleasant
We stayed at the radisson blu Hotel in Dortmund, Germany and had an amazing time! The hotel is impressive, with great rooms and a fantastic spa area to relax in. We had so much fun in the indoor pool the breakfast was delicious! We had a great time and will be back for sure! Check this Hotel out if you're travelling around Germany!
The reception staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable, as did the staff at breakfast who brought out pancakes for our two kids. We arrived late and despite the kitchen just closing, they fixed us up a complimentary salad and drinks to apologise for the inconvenience. Our kids were also given bee cuddly toys which they absolutely loved. The facilities and spa are also fantastic. That was my second time staying as the first time, the service was so great. I will be back again.
Not good when you have to restful sleep. Mattress was too soft, noise from road and train outside of hotel. Too hot in the room, smelly toilet, even toilet seat without soft close. This hotel is dated, but the breakfast was delicious and swimming pool really nice and clean. You can find better place to stay in Dortmund.
We (group of 6) booked this hotel last minute (one hour before arrival) for a weekend away with friends. Despite the late booking, the rooms were ready on arrival. We made full use of the swimming pool and sauna. Towels and bathrobes were available free of charge. Staff is friendly and helpful. We got good tips at the reception for a night out.
The hotel is nice and clean, the room size is good, the bathrooms are very clean and modern, except for those in the hall which look very old. Food in the restaurant was good, breakfast was outstanding. Prices for drinks are too high and parking for hotelguests could be included in the room prices.
Excellent hotel with very little to complain about. Close to the Westfalenhalle and stadium, a couple of kilometers outside the city but the westfalen park is gorgeous. Staff are always smiling, acknowledging your presence and helpful.
