Informal hotel suitable for business-oriented and hard-working travellers. Very convenient location: metro within walking distance, center and train station reachable in 10-15 minutes on foot. Modern and original furnishings, well-stocked bar, basic breakfast, very kind and collaborative staff. Excellent sleep quality. Medium-cheap prices considering the area and location.

Let's start with the positive things: The breakfast, not exceptional but OK, deserves 3 to 4 points. And the night was quiet too, despite the room being on the side of the main road. What didn't we like? A lot. The hotel's accessibility by phone varies from catastrophic to impossible. On the first day I gave up after about 30 minutes in frustration, on the second day I had an employee on the line after about 30 minutes who didn't understand German. Fortunately, he was able to get someone who seemed to understand my request. The staff is very nice, but completely incompetent, from the reception to the bartender, who mixed the worst Caipirinha of my life. The room is spartanly furnished, but OK, you can live with that. I don't like the carpet at all. What was really bad was the small bed. Based on my study of the website, I had already pointed out beforehand and when checking in that we wanted a large bed or two single beds. We were always told that there was no problem after the request had been understood...or after we thought it had been understood. But it was not meant to be...My wife then stopped me from going to reception again, with the result that I slept terribly.

We were here for the Bundesliga game between Dortmund and Stuttgart. All in all, the room was perfectly adequate for one night. However, I thought it was a shame that there was no closet, fridge or safe in the room. I imagine that would be difficult for people who are staying longer... The air conditioning didn't really work either. But the breakfast and food as well as the service were really great.

The good - Very good location with only a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof - Pretty good choice of items for breakfast
The not so good - Small room with no fridge, no table, no chair, no tea/coffee, no wardrobe . Rooms featured a small high stool and another larger lower stool along with a makeshift pull down ledge to use as a table. A simple rail instead of any other wardrobe feature - Tiny bathroom - Room temperature which took a long time to function - Breakfast supposedly available between 0600-1000 daily however there was a delay of around 15 minutes as things were not ready. Considering there is limited space to eat the breakfast , this is not fair to those arriving early to make use of the limited space - A member of staff being reprimanded by his senior for the delay to breakfast. This should have been done in private if at all necessary - Staff general miserable and hardly welcoming - A welcome drink on arrival which I was informed was a gin cocktail however the taste of any gin was absent In some English speaking parts of the world the word Poxy is used. This venue would be suited to that word. Not worth a return to.

Very much aimed at a young target group. Stylish. Good, central location near the main train station. Small rooms, tiny bathroom, Very simply furnished, no closet, no room safe, no fridge. Unfortunately, there were problems with maintenance. There was a bad smell from the sink of the shower cubicle. The lighting by the bed had a loose connection. No own fitness center, you can use the small fitness center of the neighboring Residence Inn. Breakfast buffet OK. Overall, not a comfortable hotel. But it is inexpensive.

Sehr stylisches, modernes Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr ansprechend eingerichtet - modern und stylisch zugleich. Das Bett war sehr gut, jedoch waren mir persönlich die Kissen sehr dick. Das Zimmer war zur Innenseite/Hofseite wo es zum Morgen hin lauter wurde. Rollcontainer o.ä.
Alles in Allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.
