You want to stay at this hotel if you value a central location and a clean room to stay for a night. It is not a hotel that you enjoy spending your time at. It does it duty: giving you a peaceful sleep for a night. The neighborhood is somewhat rough and there is an entrance to the hotel that... More

We stayed for two night. The staff were friendly. The room was small but comfortable and clean. Good shower. Breakfast was very good and lots of it. Location was in the old town and ideal for us. Our room was on the second floor at the front of the hotel and the noise from the party goers below was loud.... More

Hotel Barcelona is a small, split site, no frills budget hotel and imho very good value for money. It is located on the fringe of Dusseldorf's 'Altstadt' (old town) and within walking distance of public transport systems. The hotel has no car parking facilities but there are two multi-storey car parks within a five to ten minute walk from the... More

As others have said the Hotel is right in the middle of the Altstadt above one of the Irish Bars. I stayed there for the Saturday night of the Dusseldorf Schutzenfest so definitely a busy night! The location is great, bars and restaurants within a few yards. The Hotel is immaculately kept, the room was clean and tidy - the... More

This place takes the prize for noisiest B&B I have ever stayed at. It is located right above one bar and across from two others - all with many outdoor counters/tables for people to congregate, drink and carry on loudly way into the wee hours of the morning. We were there on a Friday night and there was loud noise... More

Our room was on the floor right above the breakfast room (two above street level), and the street's noisy at night: it's the Altstadt! But you get earplugs, and with the windows closed it's a lot quieter. The room was very clean, the WiFi was free and reliable (we were using it at the MaiTai cocktail bar across the street),... It was located in the heart of Old town, just few minutes walking distance from Heinrich-Heine-Alee station(U-Bahn). Our room is located in another apartment instead of the main building, but not a problem for us. The room has everything we need, like a simple kitchen, washing machine, kettle...etc. The breakfast was better than I expected. I will surely stay here... More

A very small (12 rooms in main building) but perfectly positioned hotel in the heart of the Alstadt. Reception was very friendly and efficient upon our arrival but my son and his friend were put in an apartment across the road, not in the main hotel which was a surprise as nothing had been said during booking however this was... Four of us stayed here for four nights in early December 2015 whilst visiting the Christmas markets, which by the way were brilliant, a great atmosphere and highly recommended. The hotel itself is right in the heart of the old town(Alstadt) and is central to all the sights. It is conveniently sat above a very friendly and welcoming Irish pub,... More
