By far, my favorite hotel in Dusseldorf. The location is great - central but quiet, lots of nice restaurants and bars around. The room was spacious (with a great balcony), beautifully designed but still cozy and functional. The friendliness of the staff was so pleasant - they were all welcoming, most helpful and gave such a warm feeling. highly recommended!

I cannot believe that this hotel is part of the IHG Group. The trade show that we were due to attend was cancelled due to the German Government disallowing major events during the COVID pandemic. The IHG group stated that all bookings made up to 31 December 2020 can be cancelled without penalty. This hotel however refused to offer a refund or a credit for future use and stated in an email that they have to assert their own interests. They have then stopped responding to all emails sent and I have lost all money that was paid in November 2019 despite the group's policies. This is the worst hotel out of all accommodation booked on a 6 week vacation. Zero assistance, customer service or honouring of IHG policies.

A very good combination of price and quality. Disadvantages: - no door in the shower cabin so the floor in the bathroom is always wet - uncomfortable toilet seat - dust was found behind TV when we connected google chrome cast Advantages: - new and clean room (except for behind TV) - quiet neighbourhood - warm floor in the bathroom - good king-size mattress so we could sleep really well - complimentary coffee (coffee machine) and cacao in the room - ironing board, bathrobes, slippers in the closet - housekeeping services: we had “do not disturb” sign during the day, so housekeeping left a plastic bag with fresh towels and extra toilet paper near the door for us, that was really nice of them - room service 24/7 I also need to mention that had a delicious salad at 3am (room service), very tasty and with awesome dressing. I definitely recommend this place to stay.

I had 3 night stay during show at the Messe. Great location for walking out to the old town and plenty of local shops and bars. The room 103 was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable with excellent shower room. The room overlooks the gardens so very peaceful. The staff were most helpful. Will certainly stay here again.

Stayed for one night. As Spire member I was upgraded to a better room. Room had a nice balcony and all what is needed. Parking is expensive, around €20 per day at public garage next to the hotel. Think hotel should have a better rate for guests. Also minibar did not have any price card so I assume it was complementary with the room upgrade, but after checking with the front desk it was actually at charge. But they didnt put a price card due to covid-19. If so, this needed to be mentioned at check in. This is at least deceptive if not ilegal so giving only 3 stars.

Hello idumancic, Providing the best hotel experience begins with excellent service. It has always been our pleasure to assist our guests in whatever way we can. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to leave us feedback. I am sorry that price cards were not placed on the items at the minibar. I have shared your comment with our Hotel Management for review and the necessary improvements needed at our end. I hope we get the chance to serve you again and create a better experience for you in the future. Warm thoughts, Deborah R. Case Manager IHGService
