Very good price performance hotel. Practical. In the Japanese area surrounded of Good Japanese restaurants. Very good and polite personnel. Will come back. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast can be improved.

My visit to Hotel Asahi came as pretty much of a downer. The Hotel is at a walkable distance from the Dusseldorf Hbf station though if you have heavy bags with you, you might want to take the cab. My booking here was for a smoking room done via Booking.com. The Hotel had listed out smoking rooms on the website... More

Reception staff very friendly, room was described as a suite, old fashioned, pokey bathroom, VERY VERY noisy with road traffic and no air conditioning. Breakfast was ok, train station just over the road, I would never stay at this hotel again and how it has received 4* is beyond me, I paid almost 500 euros a night to stay here... More

We are staying tonight at this hotel. It is in need of refurbishment. The entrance to the room is very shabby - skirting boards missing, a socket falling off, badly painted. The bathroom is minuscule and there is not a lot of water coming from the shower head. The room is quite hot too. At a €234 room only is... More

I personally liked the size of the rooms compare to other hotels in Germany and other parts of the Europe. Also, I was pleased to see the accessories like Microwave over, induction gas, along with bath-tub. So, overall I will say a good value for money. Hotel is slightly old, I mean room bed-sheets, cushions , mattresses etc. are kind... More

Close to train station. Great location. Would recommend for business trip. Clean and friendly staff. Breakfast is overrated and too expensive I would stay again. Has a great smoking area if you are a smoker. Keep this place in mind if you are going to a fair in Düsseldorf

We had booked (and paid for) an "apartment" but when we went up to the room we found it was just an ordinary bedroom with no sitting area or table and with only the potential for a few cooking facilities in a cupboard. There were none of the actual facilities we had been promised when we booked (microwave, cooking equipment... More

The hotel is a 5 min walk from the central station, so it is very convenient for business travelers. There is a wide selection of restaurants of all types and prices close by. Plus a large cinema. So tops marks for location. The service is friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean and decent, but not quite up to 4... More

I've stayed here several times for business trips. The hotel is in a very convenient location near the train station and at the same time near a relatively leafy area and lots of local restaurants, mainly Japanese, Korean. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the rooms have been renovated. It's tastefully done and has brought the standard of the... More
