Excellent hotel, everything you require when out on business, free internet was welcomed as was the complimentery beverages in the room. Service was 1st class and the breakfast was excellent with a great choice.
Very small room and only single bed, but well mantained and clean. Breakfast really very good and fresh+tasty. Nice people. Only drawback: Very expensive parking....
As it is close to the main train station, well connected.
Altogether a good option but a little bit too...More
We stayed one night and had an early flight the following morning. It was a good location near station but not much around the hotel. A short walk into town centre was nice. Room was ok, clean and had a nice shower. Bed was comfortable...More

From my experience, it was quite quiet in this neighbourhood. No bad traffic even. Only few parking spots. Somehow I didn't see this as real city centre. (no shopping street/malls but just normal shops and a lot of hotels closeby though.)
By (our) walking distance, we could get to the real city centre and the lovely Rhine river.
Hope it helps your Düsseldorf trip!
