This Hotel is a rip-off charging totally unrealistic prices for damaged rooms. The reception at first is impressive but on inspection it is dated and broken The exterior of the Hotel is decaying and even the sign-age lights are more off than on. My room on the second floor was 204 and the decor was damaged and the carpets worn...

Horrible! They didn't warned us about troubles with lock and didnt even informe anyone. We were out for 2 horus and came back to completely empty...

The hotel is perfectly located near the Altstadt. I booked it only a day in advance and could get a single room for 30€. I spent the night in the Altstadt to have a drink with friends and needed a place to stay for the night. The hotel was perfect for that. Great price and only a 3 minute walk...

We booked this hotel early an 2016 through Booking.com and spent three nights there this week. Neither the Booking.Com nor the hotel's own website give anything like a true description of what we saw which is a very tired hotel in desperate need of some tlc. The lift was not working (thankfully we were on the first floor) and our...

A group of us stayed here for the weekend, we arrived on Friday evening and to be fair the check-in was quick and the staff very friendly. That's where it started to go down hill. Firstly the lift didn't work and we had to carry luggage up stairs to the third floor, the carpets on the stairs are heavily worn...

You can choose the room facing Altstadt with non-stop noise of night clubs and bars, or the room facing big street and the police office with all-night siren show. Never mind, you would not sleep here :) The both lifts are broken for 3 weeks and nobody care. The hotel does not inform you in advance about this small detail....

Admittedly during Medica, a big trade fair, the prices in Düsseldorf are at their peak. But you cannot charge 348.- Euro/night for the 'prison cell' (single occupancy!) some other reviewers have already described. This is 21st century robbery and I am tempted to report it to the police-station next door! The place is filthy, carpets are dirty and have holes,...

This hotel is right next to the police station and I'm sure they have made a deal with the local cops to let them use the unused police cells as bedrooms. The entrance area was very busy when I arrived and only one person trying to handle the crowd (it was exhibition time, so I understand this). My booking.com reservation...

I was very worried following the bad reviews for this hotel I read here. I have just had two days here and the hotel is OK. Yes it is 'tired' and needs some love and attention. The carpets are threadbare which is poor in this day and age. However the rooms were functional the bathroom more than adequate and location...
