This is the place you should get if you want to visit the city because from here you can easily walk to any place you want to eat, shop or just stroll. Right in front of the hotel, there is a market and restaurants. We easily walked to see the river Rhine. Our room #206 had big windows that opened...

The room was avg size with nice furnishings. We had 2 single beds pushed together with separate sheets on top. The bathroom was small with a narrow tub/shower and fairly cheap towels. The safe was big. The AC works well if you remember to click the "send" button on the remote. If you want ice, there's no machine. You need...

Stayed here for a weekend away with son. This was my first visit to Germany and I therefore didn't know what to expect other than I knew the Germans are very practical, efficient people and don't worry too much about the frills and fancy bits. This in mind the hotel turned out to be a little gem. I had mistakenly...

Booking the hotel was done predominantly due to location and for that it was great. The reception is nice and the people are very helpful. The rooms are ok but not overly brilliant. There was a very distinctive smell in the room and the air conditioning didn't really work. Also when booking it said double bed but it was 2...

Great location right next to the pedestrian area with plenty of restaurants, and with a convenient public parking next door and a decent breakfast. But other than that nothing really great. Room was small (but clean) and air-conditioning just made a lot of noise but did not cool down anything. Avoid street side rooms since you can not open window...

Great location to start your visit in Düsseldorf. Rooms are good and breakfast service is excellent. For those coming by car, there is a parking garage right next to it. Nearby there is the Uerige bar which is a great spot to try the local beer and to taste some nice German dishes.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights whilst visiting family close by. I wanted somewhere quiet but conveniently located. The Carathotel was a good choice. I was given a quiet room on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard. The staff were lovely. They all spoke fluent English and were very helpful and polite. Definitely good for an older person staying...

is just a tiny small hotel in the city center, not expensive and clean, but the real plus is the personnel which is professional, friendly and very nice. They pay a lot of attention to the service and customer care. That's for me what I mean as service. Thanks

We have booked a room here for one night only, it was kind of half a business trip and half a bit of couple time. The location is really good, about 10 min taxi ride from the main railway station which is useful if you need to travel early. Also on the edge of the downtown area, within like 10...
