I stay a lot in the area of Mannheim and Ludwigshafen and the Europe Hotel was a big surpirise being an excellent balance of value and service. The rooms are certainly much above average and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The bigest surpize is that there are no extra's (breakfast included, free internet etc). Do not expect an...

We stayed at this hotel as part of our Trafalgar tour of Europe. The hotel was not the nicest hotel we have been to, but it was close to the waterfront (a short walk). It was clean and safe, and that is all that mattered for the night.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice service, especially free Internet wifi is very useful for business. Breakfast is just ok. No great variety. Overall, I suggest to consider this hotel for your stay in Ludwigshafen!

I stay at the Europa Hotel when visiting customer in Ludwigshafen and have always had an enjoyable experience. The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and I have found the service to be very good. The breakfast in the morning is varied and the food is of good quality. On one occasion when I stayed there were...

Stayed at this hotel recently as part of a Trafalgar Tour. Room was at back of hotel. No airconditioning and had to open window. Lots of noise from the hotel kitchen. At dinnertime (included in cost of tour) the staff served us in a very robotic manner. No smiles. Hotel overall was average.

We stayed in the Europa Hotel in Ludwigshafen because my husband had business in the town. Not my first choice of towns to visit at all, however the hotel was a nice surprise. The rooms were very clean, even a tad spacious. The bathroom was sparkling, I appreciated that. [We did have to ask for an extra towel.] We had...

Stayed at this hotel during a Trafalgar tour. This hotel is situated a few minutes from the city centre. It is in a square with a nice park in the middle, there are a number of eating establishments nearby. There are also shops nearby and a train station. The main lobby is not that big but is quite clean and...

After a long day of touring, we checked in and found our room to be stifling hot. No air conditioning was available, and so we opened the windows and moved our mattresses to a spot under the window! This was unfortunate as other factors, such as cleanliness and service were fine.

Location: The choice isn’t wide in Ludwigshafen, particularly for non-business travellers, and most hotels seem to define themselves by how close they are to BASF. This one isn’t far from there and it is also within only a few minutes’ walk of the main shopping areas. Not cheap though. Accommodation and facilities: I took the advice offered in other reviews...

I was quite impressed with this hotel in Ludwigshafen. I wasn't expecting much being that we were in a small town, but it was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were very well kept, the bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were luxurious. They had a wonderful breakfast and the staff was very accommodating.
