Excellent value - but we stayed only one weekend night in the off-season first weekend of Advent. The location is quite good: on the edge of the old town across from a pond, there is a busy street nearby. The street is currently under construction, so it is partially blocked and therefore somewhat quiet. In the off season street parking...

Nothing works correctly. Dinner not available the day I came, some closed party. The departure from 7:00 AM Ok, even I need to leave as soon as possible, I must accept it. But 7:15, I am locked at room's floor, lift does mot go down to reception, it means, reception staff is not at place. The room 17, window to...

A very friendly and relaxed hotel, well worthwhile for a short stay. The reception and breakfast staff are particularly friendly. It is well located for the town centre and is in a quiet location, there is an attractive lake situated opposite, across the road (down some steps). The bedroom and bathroom was perfectly adequate. Their evening meal and drink prices...

For us, this hotel was a slightly 'mixed' experience. The major advantage of this place is its location: in a quiet street, but just steps from the center, so there is no need for a car or public transport while you are there. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, there is no chance to park...

My wife and I found this hotel "above average" but not "great." Our room was clean and the staff was helpful. It was a five-minute walk to the main street and Luther exhibits. The hotel uses the parking garage of a local shopping center so we had to move our car on check-out day to a local parking lot that...

We enjoyed our two nights in the Hotel am Schwanenteich. Terrific breakfast, my goodness, their scrambled eggs are awesome. Rooms are on the small side but comfy, nice beds, air-con is a big plus, very modern elevator and public areas all really nice. Very nice reception, everyone we encountered was very friendly. Of course, even though I'm an American I...

We stayed for one night on our way south through Europe. The hotel is well situated on a small quiet street, but within close walking distance from the more busy town center where there are several restaurants and pubs. The staff was very friendly and spoke an easy-to-understand German. There is no parking space at the hotel, but there is...

The hotel is located very close to the central district but a little away from the main drag, so it is much more quiet than some places would be. Meals aren't gourmet, but hearty. If you don't speak German, hotel practices might pose a difficulty. The dedicated, earnest and friendly staff was unable to explain exactly how the parking garage...

Good if smallish room with an excellent shower, etc, outstanding dinner (huge servings - so be warned) in a lovely dining room, good breakfast in the breakfast room, staff mostly very helpful, in a good position up an alleyway quite near the centre. Price OK. There's a lift, so no problem on that score. If you're coming on a local...

This is a smaller, "old-world" hotel on an alley in Wittenberg. The room we had was very pleasant, as was the bathroom and oh-so-clean! Our room had no frills, but the mattresses were really comfortable and we slept well. We left the windows open and listened to distant trains going back and forth through the night--wonderful! The breakfast was better...
