While the rooms are clean and functional with a nice bathroom, there is litteraly no countertop space. In my room anyway. Very small bed table, no suitcase holder, 6 inch deep shelf already filled with litterature, water and glass. Same applies to bathroom. Restaurant is close by but food was average and drinks (Wine) too expensive for german standards. For...

I like the industrial design of the hotel. The graffiti on the walls was a nice touch. The hotel is very modern. I did however find the room quite dark with all the lights on in the room which made working in the room slighty more difficult. There is no ironing allowed in the rooms. Wifi in room 310 is...

768/5000 Dear Kenny F., Thank you for your visit to our hotel as well as for your valuable feedback. We are very pleased that you enjoyed the breakfast and the evening buffet. We had to go to Neumünster for a funeral just before Christmas and made a reservation for 3 rooms at Altes Stahlwerk. Even if it was a rather busy time, the service was fantastic. We wanted a family dinner in the evening, but it was full at the restaurant. The lady in the reception said that the buffet in "1500...

We spent one night here. Very comfortable and completely renovated rooms with really good beds. Staff was very very kind everywhere. Breakfast is really great. Unfortunately restaurant Gustavs in the hotel is closed in January so we had dinner in the buffet - which had ok food and a very very kind staff.

Once in September I was using the Stahlwerk Hotel again after a long ride with my Porsche 928, arriving at 4:00 am in the morning, exhausted. I was facing already again some troubles with my dutch credit card and 2 dutch EC cards during my travel when paying gasoline, and the Porsche 928 eats a lot of gasoline. The week...

Been staying here for work a few times and like the design of the hotel and rooms, really feel the industrial heritage that the name suggests. There are two restaurants in connection to the hotel. Can be recommended if you are in the Neumünster area.

This hotel is quite new with a modern and very raw decor. It is probably not for everyone but I found the build up authentic and very interesting. Graffiti on the walls and bare concrete floor is what you have to del with here, but this is overall in line with the history of the old steel factory. Very recommendable.

Transiting to or from Scandinavia, or when the roads clog up as they do in the summer, this is a very nice stop-over just a few minutes from the motorway. Spacious rooms with nice beds but very sparsely furnished. If you want to watch TV, you sit on the bed! However, the real drawback is the lack of air. On...

This was a pleasant stay and we found the hotel by Google. We payed around 100€ for a double room and breakfast. It's an old steel factory converted to a design life style hotel with lots of details left. I like design and loved this hotel. It's reminding me of Hotel George in Hamburg, very modern and comfortable. They have...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is convenient location to downtown, it's about a 15 min walk there. The included breakfast was excellent, they had a wide range of bread, jam, cheese, milk, fruit etc etc. It's a lifestyle hotel, so a lot of the food is vegan and allergy friendly. The hotel and rooms are...
