You will go to Hotel Mariano only because of the price. It is cheap. My friends and I book it for the Feria de Córdoba as it is 15min walking and all rest of places are expensive or booked normally. Don't expect anything more than a bed and a shower. Apartament for 8 people around 120€/night during Feria de Córdoba...

Paid 40 euros for a double room, free parking and wifi plus location 10 minutes walk from the Mezquita. Easy to find on the main road with garage parking (although down slope and cramped but possible). Pleasant walk along the top of the walkway on the river bank towards the old city. Great views of the Roman bridge, Mezquita etc...

We liked the Mariano for all the wrong reasons. I find rubbish facilities like failing lights and dodgy lefts hilarious. The staff spoke no English, but did their best, and the bar was spartan but cheap. The place charged 50e which is really cheap, but has free parking. Believe me, a car is a real nuisance in Cordoba, and parking...

Attracted to book this hotel due to offer of a room within walking distance of the sights of Cordoba at a cost of about 60 euros for two nights. Location is not at all in the plush or historic part of the city but it is an acceptable 40-minute stroll to the Mezquita, for example. The hotel is very basic...

This hotel is dated. Mouldy bathroom, no Internet access. No AC. Very noisy. No telephone nor alarm clock services.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience. While the hotel was clean, and the staff fairly pleasant, the rest of our stay was pretty bad. One of the biggest problems was lighting in the hallways. The lights were controlled by timed switches located at periodic spots in the hallways and stairwells. The worst was the garage, which followed the same format....
