We booked the suite, which is really just a larger room (no separate sitting area), but it has a fabulous terrace overlooking the Mezquita, with lounge chairs and lovely potted flowers, and a nice big bathroom. We also enjoyed having our own espresso machine, especially as they don't offer breakfast (no bar or restaurant). Location is ideal and the staff... More

This is a very nice mid-budget option in a fantastic location. You are within walking distance of everything. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, staff very helpful. The bathroom is pretty small with zero shelf space. But for the price, you can't beat this option. There is a wonderful restaurant immediately across the street worth checking out too. I'd definitely stay... More

Great location and wonderful facilities, was an excellent place to stay. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom had a bath as well as a hairdryer which was a nice addition. There are tea and coffee facilities in the courtyard and the architecture is beautiful to look at. Made for a very enjoyable trip.

Stayed here one night passing through. A little difficult to find but was pleasantly surprised. My room was small but perfect and location is ideal right in the heart of the old town. Would 100% recommend this place!

I was very happy with my choice of hotel. I was in Cordoba for two nights, and Hostal Azahar is bang in the heart of all the action. The Mezquita is locatoed right across the street, even though the entrance is around the block. The tiny, fascinating lanes of the Jewish Quarter, the Roman Bridge, and the Calleja de las... More

We stayed here in July and the air con worked perfectly in the 40 degree heat of Córdoba. This hostel is centrally located for the Mezquita on a very quiet road. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cold fridge of beers in reception was a god-send and very good value! The room we had was big, looked recently decorated,... More

What a great location opposite the Mezquita. I reached it from the train station on the no 3 bus, so it was very convenient. Everything I wanted to see in Cordoba was an easy walk away. My corner room was large, with 2 french doors opening to views of the Mezquita and the lovely little street. The staff were friendly,... More

You can walk from the railway station to this hotel but we took a taxi as it was raining hard. (We walked back to the station on the way out of Cordoba). The location is great as it's right in the middle of all the tourist attractions so you can walk everywhere. The room was small but adequate and the... More

Sally and I stayed here for two nights towards the end of June, and we thoroughly recommend it. The staff were friendly and helpful, our rooms were clean and airy (we stayed in room 9 which has a roof terrace with a fitted cold water shower!), and the location is perfect for exploring the Mesquita - right next door -... Stayed 1 night to visit the Mosque Cathedral and Medina Azzahra. We arrived on a Sunday by a rented car which we could not return that day. Our mistake was that we did not read the hotel's instruction not to use GPS to get to the hotel. So we were led through some of the narrowest roads and alleys! But... More
