No albergue available so I stayed a night as part of the Camino Mozarabe. €15 was a reasonable price, but the place is run down, rooms grubby and the shared bathroom toilet ran out of toilet paper. Brilliant location though.

Location: Ideal, being only 3 minutes walk from the Mesquita. Reception: Very friendly from both Fernando senior & junior – the latter speaking good English. Parking: Available in private underground parking nearby at €10/night. Fernando jnr came with us to show us the way. Tight manoeuvres to get in! Room: Adequate size, clean, bare stone floor, air conditioning, TV, good...

The room was clean and simple. We Bad a room to the inner patio that was rather quiet. The walls are thin, so we were lucky that our neighbours were quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostel is perfectly situated for visiting the Alcazar and there are many restaurants around.

What can I say? You get what you pay for. Fairly basic furnishings in a middling sized room. I often describe thing as utilitarian. This is less than that. Basic. It is close to everything. The owner is very helpful. Wi fi was very bad on the first day but improved.

Just checked into this place. Originally booked it because of the low price but ended up finding a jewel as well. Definitely a mom and pop type of place. The owner was quite smitten (not in a creepy way at all. He was quite cute about it)with my red headed wife so he upgraded us to a bigger room. Make...

We stayed by accident in this hotel - we booked (and paid!) the "Azahar" hostal which is like 10mnts walking distance away from this one. By accident, we arrived at this hotel and told the owner that we have a reservation, he did not deny it, and therefore we stayed overnight. We found out in the morning, that we've arrived...

When we arrived ( two couples) we were offered an apartment instead of the two rooms we'd booked. It was around the corner and after a quick look we accepted. The good points were its proximity to the patios and the mesquite, comfy beds also the friendly welcome although the old guy was well over the top with his jokes......

This small family owned hostel has a very central location, near the Mesquita. It's nice and quiet and has a very local feel. Our room was spacious. The owner doesn't speak much English and if he get's the chance, he will try to trick you with all kind of jokes ;) His son is more serieus and also very friendly...

We found this place in the Rough Guide to Andalucia and made the booking on the phone only an hour or so before we arrived. Despite its extremely moderate price it turned out to be a brilliant place. The proprietors were really helpful and friendly, and the room was quite spacious. The bathroom was particularly good and featured a powerful...
