The hotel is great. I took it because Cadiz was too expensive, and took the fairy from Santa Maria to Cadiz. However, it's better to have a car in order to do that. The hotel is beautiful, with great views of the marine. It also has view of Cadiz from the other side of the bay, which is so-so. It... More

This is the 5th time we have visited this hotel. It is the ideal chill place. However, you can easily drive to the port in Santa Maria and catch the boat to Cadiz. this is cheap and excellent as it goes right to the centre of the city and saves all the parking problems. The hotel food is excellent and... More

This hotel was our first stop on a three week tour of Andalucia. The hotel is located in the marina, a very peaceful area. You can walk to the centre of El Puerto de Santa Maria via a walkway along the beach where all the locals walk and jog at night. However it is quite a long walk (three quarters... More

We booked a standard room on the internet and when we arrived we got an upgrade because they were all full. That was nice of course, our room was enormous, just a pity you can,t make your own tea/coffee. The bed was very good also the bathroom was excellent. We didn,t have breakfast. It's a pity you have to pay... More

I though that this is a great hotel. We stayed in this hotel for a few days whilst we were on holiday in October/November. The swimming pool was closed, which was a shame because it was one of the reasons why we decided to go to this hotel. The rooms were very spacious, and if you book for a "double-room",... More

This is a beautifully designed hotel, with good facilities and location, so it was disappointing to find that they allow intolerable levels of noise from the adjacent late-night bar/disco to interfere with the comfort of their guests. While staff were understanding, it was clear that the hotel made no effort to control the noise made by late night revelers. It... More

We had a good time there, as European beds go, these were comfortable. The room service we had was quick and good. The only thing it was lacking is a business area with internet connected computers and printer. Also a minor detail, check-in time is 12 noon, and our room was not ready until 1300. Not a big deal, they... More

I went with my wife and 5 y.o. girl to spend a week. This is one of the worse hotels I have ever been in Europe. The whole hotel needs a complete refurbishment. The rooms were old fashioned and in bad condition. There were two swimming pools. One of them empty and the other had weeds. The surrounding of the... More

You're on the wrong side of town if you are in this place. Cadiz is certainly the place to be, and indeed Playa de la Victoria is the one to experience, so don't get bogged over in this place, as it is a marina only, and they make little effort to offer more. El Puerto Santa Maria is a little... More

Emilio´s bar website, gives the impression that this is a luxury, exclusive, high quality complex. What they fail to say and show is that the area is in fact either half built or rundown. The actual apartment was OK, apart from the fact that the patio door didn´t lock. However, in the stairwell the stairs were crumbling, the light fittings... More
