There are few places to stay in the centre of Estepona and this is probably the best one; it´s basic, clean, good beds, and quiet. Good value for money especially out of season. It has beautiful old tiles on the floors and could be made quite smart, but for a budget place it´s perfect for a few nights. Staff also... More

Arrived here by coincidence looking for an accomodation.I was lucky that a single room had become available, which was small and a bit noisy,as it was located near the entry to the reception. But:very friendly receptionist, good bed, clean but simple bathroom,airco/heating avbl, good free wifi...for 28 eur.finally stayed there 3 nights.for breakfast there are ample possibilities nearby..just ask for good tips at reception!

Not really sure why the El Pilar is classified as a B&B/Inn - it is in fact a small family run hotel (hostal). It is very centrally located in the Plaza de las Flores - close to pretty much to everything you want to do in Estepona. It was a very good two nights stay for us - room was... More

Lovely little hostel! Perfect place, spotless, hassle free, friendly & cheap. The little bar outside on the left has the cheapest & biggest tapas in town (variety not great but everything tastes good). Absolutely definitely one to go back to.

Situated on one of the corners of Plaza de Flores, this is a super small hostel type establishment. We booked directly with the hotel and you might find it difficult to get someone who speaks English but persevere if you can. There are only a dozen or so rooms and the ones to try and get are on the side... More

In so many ways Hostal El Pilar is great value for money. Great location in one of the prettiest squares in Estepona, a short walk to the beach and the shops and bars/restaurants, etc.. Family run and, in my experience, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a decent size, clean and a good bathroom. It's a budget hostel, not... More

Stayed here over Saturday and Sunday nights and the buzz of the square is fantastic albeit a little loud, however once the people had all gone to bed it was lovely and silent with no car noise or horns beeping. Rooms are basic but clean and are perfect to rest after a days strolling and shopping etc. the family are... More

This is a budget Hotel/Hostel, so we were not expecting to stay in a palace. To that extent, this establishment ticks all those boxes. It is very basic accommodation. However, the management is very poor with, dare I say it, their behaviour boarding on the fraudulent. When we booked, we requested a double room. When we arrived, we were given... More

We chose this hostal for our 4 night stay in Estepona and were very pleased with our choice. The location is ideal if you want to be located in old town, right on the plaza de la Flores and, if you're happen to be here in spring, the fragrance of the Orange trees welcomes you each time you enter the...
