Just a one night stay but the hotel suited us perfectly. We were warmly greeted by a staff member at check in who spoke very good English and made us feel welcome. The hotel is very well located being in the middle of town close to the historic centre/.shops as well as the Port area. The room was large and red bed was a great size. Although our room faced out onto a busy street, the double glazing made art very sound proof. All facilities in the hotel were modern and stylish. We had a car - there are several car parking buildings close by including one (Parkigrund) where the nightly rate of 20 euros was discounted to 16 euros with the hotel stamping our carpark ticket. We enjoyed our time at Soho Colon Malaga and highly recommend it to others!
Really lovely rooms, done to a very high standard. Great location and very friendly staff. Also, just outside we found a fantastic vegan restaurant (for those of you who like vegan food. Polish run.). Will definitely return,
The hotel is everything you would expect from a new 4 - star hotel. The furniture and amenities are exactly as in the pictures. If you like the boutique style for hotels, you will for sure enjoy it. I definitely recommend it.
Didn’t really look at reviews beforehand as it was one option in an amazing package deal. Upgraded to breakfast at the same time. Unbelievable location for the airport, literally two minutes walk to the train station and straight to the airport. Took the bus there to see the sights, easy as that with location off a road. Off the road, not on it ! Brilliant. Staff extremely welcoming, wasn’t looking for a massive big spacious hotel as it was a city break and the idea was to see the city not the hotel. But fantastic staff, loved the breakfast, quirky setting down in the bottom of the building and for me perfect. Not the most amount of light natural light into the room & not the worlds biggest shower but both were more than good enough. So I’m struggling to find any faults with the whole room and stay & the idea was it was somewhere to sleep, not spend time. Lovely 10 minute walk to the centre of things although lots of little bars and restaurants within two minutes walk. Further to the marina and then beach but entirely manageable if you’ve got anything about you to get up and enjoy the sights. But it’s still only 15-20 minutes or so. So Definitely five stars as it was a big step up from your normal chain and represented amazing value. Even the fact there wasn’t a lot of natural light in the room was offset by the fact it was a quirky little portal type window. When closed it was absolutely silent although the noise was minimal anyway. Would highly recommend it to anyone unless you want a big posh hotel just for the sake of it. If you want somewhere lovely to walk back to and enjoy sleep and breakfast you won’t go wrong.…
Went to Malaga for weekend break (live in Alicante) all in all lovely hotel, bed was super comfortable and room had everything you required, obvious due to covid there isn’t a coffee machine and had to ask for hairdryer but no big deal, breakfast was disappointing, we went first morning but girl was on her own and they had three sittings 8/9/10 we chose 10 and she couldn’t cope she obviously had to cook it as well and had no system so we left! Got breakfast else where at a really cool place round the corner called the cereal box! Girl on reception really nice and helpful, hotel clean and nice and central
