Great location, close to the bus stop for the airport, also close to the metro station and the port. Restaurants and bars right outside the door. Modern restaurants in the port/marina and historic ones in the City Centre all within easy walking distance. Free wifi is available, however, it is annoyingly flakey and drops out regularly particularly at weekends when...

Clean, comfortable beds , great value . Only two stars but really all you need of a hotel when out sightseeing all day. Breakfast - good value too. Friendly, efficient staff. Centrally located near port, tourist office, cathedral and port bus stops.

The hotel was located near the port and city center. You can access most of those attractive spots in the city within 3-5 minutes' walk. There were the museum Alborania, a small science museum regarding the oeanic stuffs and a big wheel, Mirador Princess that could show you the city veiw just across the road. Kids really enjoyed those. We...

With only one night in Malaga before our flight home this was just what we needed. Friendly staff, a large double room. clean, quiet and a nice breakfast buffet. Lots of good eating places nearby. A local train station nearby for trains to the airport or airport bus in next street.

We have stayed here four or five times and entirely agree with all positive comments. Underground car park available, but we use easy bus from airport getting off at Alameda Principal and the hotel is just down a short alley heading towards the sea. Spotlessly clean rooms and corridors. Spoilt for choice with local restaurants. Lovely garens, seafront, castle, old...

Perfect if catching the bus from the airport into town. Spotlessly clean and the restaurant opposite has excellent seafood and beer. Only downside was the noise from corridors and other rooms, though we did sleep well. Breakfast simple but good.

You need to leave the key at the reception every time you leave the hotel, which is very annoying. That's the only thing I didn't like about this hotel. Breakfast is not included, you need to pay extra few euros for that. It's not a very exciting breakfast anyway so better to eat outside. Rooms are really big and clean....

This is a budget hotel and therefore expectations should not be set too high. Our twin bedded room was adequate although rather small. Our room looked out to a rather dark small enclosed area and the curtains were therefore best left closed! The main disappointment was that noises from adjoining rooms and in the corridors were very audible. On the...

Hotel Sur is really well situated for tourists to Malaga. The hotel was spotlessly clean with our twin bed room had adequate room with a small bath en-suite room with a power shower. Nothing was any problem to the helpful staff. We asked for and got additional pillows and a hairdryer. Breakfast was good value and catered for my celiac...

I can't fault this great value hotel. Easy to get to from the airport and close to the old city, the port and the beach. Breakfast good value with cheeses, ham, pastries, yoghurt etc.Room was spotless and comfortable. Staff really helpful especially Diego who gave lots of tips about Malaga in impeccable English. I would definitely return to this hotel.
