To start .....Normally, we do not do city breaks. We ended up here as our pre-booked hotel was closed when we arrived. Late at night, a foreign country, no hotel, a LHD hire car with no working Sat nav. We googled recommended hotels and this came up. A long story short . . . . . What a lucky problem. The Location was 100 yards from the cathedral in a pedestrian zone with dozens of restaurants and cafes within 5 minutes walk. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. The room clean, sanitised, bright and spacious. We had a balcony from which we could see the cathedral to the left and harbour to the right. Breakfast was continental style with a good selection available for all tastes. The restaurant was modern Spanish, fused with European general. First class. Price around 100 euros for two. In conclusion, we arrived nervous, but left determined to return to the same room of the same hotel ! Thank you for everything.…
Everything was terrific, from the well trained and accommodating staff to the views from the rooftop swimming pool. Our room was styled a "superior double" and we couldn't fault it. Of particular note was the sound proof glazing, cutting out street noise. Cannot recommend highly enough for this superbly located hotel.
Just love this hotel. Stayed here two weeks ago to celebrate a friends birthday loved it so much came back with my husband two weeks later On arrival the reception staff were exceptional, couldn’t do enough to make us feel more welcome Our Junior suite with views of the Cathedral was 5 star+ Immaculate great size , beautiful bathroom with free standing bath big walk in shower . Loved the big doors to open , views of the street and Cathedral The most comfortable bed ever pillows to die for We could have just stayed in the room but on the top of the hotel is a pool bar. Beautiful here with views of the Marina and Cathedral Fantastic cocktails and fabulous service and very friendly. We booked a package and chose the taster menu with wine flight. Such value for money . Beautiful surroundings. The waiting staff were knowledgeable and explained every course and also beautiful Malaga wines. It was the best treat. The food was fresh , interesting so so so beautiful. Malaga wines to match every course. Finished off with cocktails made by the cocktail master at the bar. We just didn’t want to leave the hotel . It ended with an absolutely fresh , plentiful room service breakfast. Masses of choice beautifully presented just delicious. I couldn’t possibly say enough about this hotel . Just a gem 💎 Also everything on the doorstep A real real treat!!!!!!!!!!!…
The Molina lario is an interesting case. In terms of Value for money, it’s good. Food is ok. Room service is also “ok”. Don’t get a pizza. Lidl would put it to shame. The stand out thing IMO is Roberto on reception. He’s made the difference. A 5* hotel would be lucky to have him. Sometimes it’s the staff that make the difference and he’s done just that. This isn’t to say that the hotel is bad. It’s good. But the members of staff make the difference. Aline at breakfast also very good, but Roberto should be in charge of training.
This wonderful hotel is located right in the centre of Malaga and on the edge of the historic town centre. Car parking is normally under the building, but during Covid, the parking is closed, so we had to park in the very busy public parking just across the street. It’s a small inconvenience, but not the fault of the hotel at all. The check in procedures, the staff and the general appearance and presentation of the hotel were perfect and the rooms are decorated in a modern yet classical style, with all the facilities you would expect and one of the most comfortable beds you can imagine. There is a lovely bar area just beside reception and all of the attractions of the old town are within a few minutes’ walk, as are countless bars and restaurants. I was very happy with this lovely little hotel and for sure I will be back to enjoy more time here and explore the surroundings even more. …
