The Molina Lario hotel was always the place to stay if you wanted the best location in town, stepping out into a street full of restaurants or city centre nightlife. And handy for the beach if you did not choose the rooftop pool. Plus helpful...More
A wonderful hotel, good comfortable spacious rooms, lovely pillows, friendly helpful staff, fantastic location, good views, decent rates, secure baggage store, central for everything and just opposite an airport shuttle stop.
Hotel was immaculate, and staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Perfect position for the harbour, cathedral and restaurants. The rooftop bar was excellent, as was the outdoor pool. The hotel breakfast was good value for money, and I recommend it too.
Though we were able to spend only one night in this hotel, we were captivated by what it had to offer: a central location, accessible to fine restaurants as well as museums and places of historical interest. First world ambiance and comfort, beautifully appointed rooms,...More

Any city hotel with a rooftop pool will have limited space so it's hardly surprising it gets busy now and again. We have been going to Molina Lario twice a year for 10 years and never had a problem. This hotel is for the more discerning patron for its near location to the culture and amazing restaurants that Malaga City provides. If people want to lie in the sun all day then I suggest a hotel down the coast towards plastic Spain with kids running around screaming and thousands of sun beds everywhere or take a 15 min walk to the beach over the road past the Port. Molina Lario has been and still is the friendliest and best hotel in Malaga City and gives us everything that we require and I would class us as sunbathers. Have never heard a bad word about Molina Lario, if it doesn't cater to you're specific requirements go somewhere else.
