I stayed at this hotel as we were attending a wedding at the Puente Romano opposite, and this was the best value option. The hotel is halal and no alcohol is allowed, we didn't know this before booking and it wasn't too much of a problem as we didn't have much time. Breakfast was included, big selection and most of...

I am a wheelchair user and I stayed in the Alanda Hotel Marbella in Sept 2016. The room was big and bathroom was a very good size also although there was a bath and not a role in shower. The grounds were stunning and easy to get around with the wheelchair. In the Hotel the breakfast area was accessible by...

We stayed at the Alanda for a week and found it to be a great base for exploring the Andalucia region of Spain as well as North Africa. The staff were very helpful in organising our day trips and offering advice about places to visit in the region. Breakfast was a lavish spread and on days we had extra early...

I see a lot of people showing their disappointment with no alcohol - do your research on the hotel before you go! I went with my sister for her birthday and we stayed in a superior twin room in end of may. The staff were lovely to us - yes it was a bonus the food was halal for us,...

My wife and I booked into the Hotel for 7 nights. It was my wife birthday so some of the family were also in Marbella for the celebration. We booked the hotel knowing its was Halal no alcohol or pork. I can take or leave alcohol so that did not matter to me that much but the thought of no...

I cannot talk about the hotel itself, just the SPA Agua del sol that there is in the resort. The intallation is pretty relaxing but several things were not working (the cascade, the turkish bath and some other jets in the pool). Also the buttons to activate them in some cases are not actually handy. You have to stretch and...

I stayed here for one night in August. Ou course one would appreciate AC on when one walks in; but one would also expect a remote for AC in such expensive hotel. What's lacking also is the iron board. Oh, the wall seriously needs to be better sound proofed. Otherwise it is OK.
