My room was small but clean and comfortable. Trying to get a parking spot close to the hotel was an absolute nightmare - the streets are jam packed with cars (many belonging to people living inside the old walled town, where cars have no access). Breakfast was simple and adequate. The wi-fi didn't work.

We stayed in the Don alfredo on a last minute trip to marbella. The hotel is located at the walls of the old town and is in a brilliant location. We had booked a double room but we were initially allocated a twin room which the owner rectified the following day. We were given room 201 which is a double...

The hotel is clean and basic. The room was OK with small balcony and a bath. Great location and some road side parking outside. The owner was pleasant and agreeable, but not very welcoming. Its a 10 minute walk to Orange Square although up and down a few steps

To begin with, hotel prices are ridiculously high in Marbella, and this is probably the lowest among all other hotels (but still it is expensive at 100 euros per night). I was told by a local tour guide that the location of this hotel is very good (indeed it is: 5-8 mins walk from the beach; near to the "soho"...

This family hotel was recommended to me by a friend who lived in the old town. It was a good recommendation. I was allocated a double room for single occupancy, and not only was it spacious, but it had a large en suite bathroom, with a bath and shower. It also had a bidet and WC (just don't confuse the...

We stayed here for 4 nights. Although the room was basic in decoration it was ideal for us and spotlessly clean. The location is amazing its up a quiet street in the centre of the old town with an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops in the area. We will definitely be returning, it's perfect for couples!

With the clever installation of solar panels, the Don Alfredo’s guests enjoy invigorating, hot power showers, and pristine-clean tubs to wallow in hot, soapy water, all of which is contained within a spotless, spacious bathroom generously providing complimentary shampoo, soap as well as daily clean towels. Additionally, we are rewarded with respite from the heat of the Marbella sun with...

This hotel is pretty amazing for the price. Comfortable (nice bed, AC, shutters on the windows, nice view of the castle, bath and shower, elevator), clean, central, quiet, friendly, efficient. 50 euro with breakfast included. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Don Alfredo between 30. June and 4. July 2015 as our last stay, on a two-week road trip around Andalucia. We were looking for an affordable but central hotel, and ended up here based on other reviews. We were not dissapointed. Great service in the reception, with helpfull staff (I guess this is a family driven hotel?). Very...

The good:- Clean. Next to the historic centre. Reasonably priced. Close to a number of restaurants. Relatively quiet. The bad:- Breakfast although included is very basic. Internet is extremely slow. Internet code has to be changed daily. Blankets and sheets, not duvets. Extremely thin walls between bedrooms. No bar or restaurant apart from breakfast. Dated.
