Excellent location but ask for lift if you can't climb stairs. Our room overlooked the river and was lovely. Staff very helpful and opened the breakfast room early for us because we had a dawn start to the day. Air conditioning was good and very necessary.

We stayed in room 305 (the one with the four poster) and loved it's unique style. The bedroom and bathroom are separated by a long corridor which has a small seating area set into a tall bay window on one side and windows looking down onto the main courtyard on the other. (There are lightweight curtains at the windows, to...

I have never stayed in a "boutique" hotel before, and this was a marvellous surprise ! Beautiful clean, authentic, old Spanish interior, and a delightful "suite", which unexpectedly, included a jacuzzi bath. Great position for Alhambra, and for exploring the old part of Granada ; and for such a classy place, reasonably priced.

This hotel is in the old town in a great location for all the major tourist things. You can walk everywhere if you want a bit of exercise or take a mini city bus near by which costs €1.20/ way to the Alhambra or to the Albazine, both being about a 15 min walk uphill. We had 2 rooms, a...

The hotel location is great and the rooms are very quaint. Very close to Alhambra which was the reason for selecting this place. However we are travelling with 4 heavy bags and had to haul them up 3 flights of stairs as there was no lift to our room. Some rooms have lift access though. We could also hear dripping...

Dear Guest. Many thanks for your nice comment referring the Palacio Mariana Pineda. We are glad to know that you appreciated the location. Being a XVII Century building, the original construction is conserved and there´s no possibility of lift on the main patio. The hotel is situated in a restricted area that is why the hotel strongly recommends parking the...

We stayed here during our visit to Granada. We found the hotel to be typical of a "3" star hotel in Europe. It was clean, simple and a good value. They have a family room which allows four people to stay in one room. The toilet/shower area is larger than most hotels in Europe which was nice. The service was...

Well located close to The Alhambra, and flattered by the brochure photos, the reality was a rather dark tired property very difficult to access on not that cheap! Had to leave half way through our 2 night stay and whilst not entitled to a refund, a small allowance would have been welcome. Will try somewhere else next time.

“Room 305 with the four poster and Alhambra view is great and makes a nice romantic break.”

“Our room was facing Alhambra, but you could not see much of it. It was above the little street below, but we were not disturbed .”
of 5 bubbles SquashTotnes, 20 Aug 2016 | Read review
“Room 305 has charming views but be advised that Carrer del Darro whilst mostly pedestrianised is very busy and full of chatter. It is a very pretty outlook. If you intend visiting the Alhambra (and of course you do!) it is definitely best to get tickets I advance. Aim for an 8:30am slot and you'll have the best chance of missing the hordes in the Palacio Nazaries which can otherwise be very crowded. It is worth walking up to the Alhambra once, if only to confirm that the guidebooks are wise in recommending the very cheap and frequent C3 bus (just over 1 euro per journey) which leaves frequently from a square just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The climb is steep but pretty. ”
