Having stayed at this very gracious centenarian hotel on a prior, our return visit was prompted by its location virtually on the grounds of the Alhambra. We had a comfortable stay and one more than very good meal on a Sunday evening on the enclosed portion of terrace off the main dining room. The venue attracts tourists in groups so...

We stayed for two nights, and we were impressed by the level of service. As soon as we arrived in our rental car, our bags were taken to reception, and as we were checking in they had already recorded our license plate number and were ready to valet our car away. Then our bags were whisked away again to our...

I had a bad experience at this hotel. Here's why: LOCATION - I choose this place because it is right by the Alhambra, and that was our primary reason for being in Granada. It's true that it's right near it, but even though we were only in Granada for one night, we spent a small fortune in cab fare because...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your comment. Thanks to comments like this we try to improve day by day. However, we would like to inform you that as in all the hotel, weeding celebrations happens. Nevertheless, the wedding’s guests are at the lobby for just 50 minutes. After that they go down to the salons that were soundproof...

The hotel has two things going for it - the best view of Granada and it's proximity to La Alhambra. We originally booked a suite but this was a big mistake. The suites are the most expensive rooms but have the worst views!! Ours looked out over some rubble and a building site. Thanks to the outstanding service of the...

Dear guest, Thank you very much for your comment. We are very glad you enjoy your stay with us. These comments are what help us improve day by day. However, we would like to inform you that all our Junior Suites face the view of the city due to the fact that the hotel is on the top of the...

Grand old world style hotel perfectly situated to walk to the Alhambra. Rooms were comfortable with nice amenities (toothbrush, shaving kit, shoe shine cloth) on top of the ordinary shampoo and lotion. We upgraded to a superior room with a view and it was worth every penny - the city of Granada sits at it's feet and sparkles at night....

The hotel is really quite gorgeous. Although it's quite large, it's set on a very small parking lot on hilly terrain, but I think that adds to its charm. It's less than 1/4 of a mile from Alhambra making this a good place to stay if you want to go to the palace and grounds for the day. Arriving at...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your comment. We are very glad you enjoy your stay with us. Superb hotel. Amazing decor. Helpful staff. Fantastic view from the balcony of the hotel. Elegant furnishings and has all the required amenities. What was missing was an electric kettle ( so tea and coffee drinkers will have a problem) Also they don't provide you with an iron and iron stand. So every thing has to go to the laundry. The...

This hotel is exactly how it was described and reviewed on TripAdvisor--a wonderful. Old world-style hotel. Our room was spacious and overlooked the city. The bathroom was beautiful with Alhambra-like tile and modern shower. The restaurant terrace and room terrace had fabulous views of city and sunset. And it is a three minute walk to the Alhambra. However, the decor...

We stayed here as most people do, to visit the Alhambra fortress and palace, which is ideally situated only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. It's also only a 10 - 15 minute walk down to the Granada city centre, but a taxi or bus is advisable back up the steep hill. The hotel is very easy to drive...

This was a first rate hotel and not at a huge price. One of the most beautiful hotels ever, styled after the Alhambra itself, with intricate carvings in the lobby and Moorish tiles its a gem. The bar was lovely with the outside terrace overlooking the city, stunning especially at sunset. Rooms ok size, and bathrooms had Moorish tiles also....
