Room was a reasonable size and enough for the 2 nights we stayed. Ours faced to the front of the hotel looking down the road towards Plaza Neuva. Room and bathroom was in good clean condition and there was a kettle with tea making facility which is not always available in Spanish hotels which we liked. Shower had decent pressure and hot water supply seemed good when we needed it. Only minus being the loose shower head holder and the shower door which didn't seal well and meant water leaked out on the floor. Bed was comfy enough and there is even a small sofa to relax on. Room could do with more lighting. Location of the hotel is brilliant and good for getting to the Albacin and Alhambra by foot. Also close to shops and eateries. Despite that, there was not much noise. Staff were pleasant at check in and check out. All in all, happy with the hotel for our 2 nights.

The location of Hotel Monjas Del Carmen is like 1 minute walk from the center of the old downtown, where the bus is to the Alhambra, with supermarkets and restaurants all close by. Plus, they included a complementary bottle of bubbly when we celebrated new years there. The room could have had better lighting, but overall a great choice for its price range.

Our stay was fantastic. The location is central to everything - we even walked up the hill in the morning to the Alhambra and it was only a 15 minute walk. The AC was perfect (it was 40 degrees C outside so AC was key to our trip). They even had a small refrigerator where we chilled our water before exploring each day. Staff was lovely - helped us with any logistics questions and they had a great (€20 a bag) laundry service that we dropped off in the morning and received back that afternoon. The elevators access all floors. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you!

A very good, comfortable and convenient small hotel with friendly staff. It is well situated for the Alhambra,other city attractions and the airport bus. A good breakfast is served in the attached restaurant which is also worth a visit in the evening.

The hotel was in a great location well within walking distance of shops, public transport and sites. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful. The availability of a restaurant onsite was good although we tended to dine at local establishments.

We delivered our group thru a dizzying complex of Venitian style streets of Central Granada to the Hotel Monjas del Carmen after a long day … tired and hungry. So please understand how much we appreciated the welcome from Rosa Reyes in reception. After securing parking placing everyone in comfortable rooms, she made dinner reservations for 8 within steps of our front door! We topped off the day with a declicious meal at La Carmela Autentica ( excellent food an very attentive staff)
This hotel is beautifully located to easily access the not to be missed Alhambra or restaurants within easy walking distance.

Such a great little hotel in the heart of Granada right next to the Alhambra! Very helpful staff (on duty 24hr). Definitely get a room with parking included - small garage but the area is congested and you need somewhere to park and the price wasn't ridiculous. Nice size rooms - very comfortable bed. Only 1 English language TV station but you're not there to watch tv! Excellent choice for money and location!

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and well furnished with coffee facilities. We travelled in January, and the room was nice and warm when we returned from our site-seeing! Parking also available.

The location of this hotel was excellent for us. It's just a minute away from the bus stop for the bus to The Alhambra; cost is only 1.40 euros. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are very helpful. In addition, it's located in the old part of town, so it's an easy walk to just stroll the streets to take in the sights.

Great location, very central to all that the city has to offer. Clean comfortable room with good facilities. We opted for breakfast at the hotel and were very satisfied as to what was available with a variety of hot or cold dishes on offer and a good expresso coffee as well. It was good to have on site parking for our car, although access & egress is not for the faint hearted. If we return to Granada this would be the hotel of our choice to use again.

Yes, the hotel is accessible, without stairs. In addition, we have two adapted rooms with adapted bathrooms.
Rooms have safety deposit boxes
Luggage can be left in the hotel or in the car at the hotel's underground garage
We were there in May and had 2 rooms - one was fine and the other smelled of mold, which permeated the room.

Of course, we have three floors at the hotel, all of our rooms can be reached by the elevator also is connected with our parking.
