We spent two nights in the Hotel Monjas del Carmen. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice; the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom appeared to be recently refurnished. Location is excellent; all major sites are within walking distance.

Such a great little hotel in the heart of Granada right next to the Alhambra! Very helpful staff (on duty 24hr). Definitely get a room with parking included - small garage but the area is congested and you need somewhere to park and the price wasn't ridiculous. Nice size rooms - very comfortable bed. Only 1 English language TV station but you're not there to watch tv! Excellent choice for money and location!

A mediocre hotel in a busy area of town. Our group encountered difficulties with access to the hotel, with little help from the staff. It's tucked in a hard to access corner of town, and, because of the Holy Week processions, the roads were blocked at times. The lobby of the hotel is small but fine. The rooms are a bit tired and outdated. They have little to no amenities and in reality seemed more like a 2.5-star than a 3-star hotel. My room was clean, but sparse.

Like any hotel in the historic center of the city, at Easter it can be a little more difficult due to the interruptions of the processions. Every year our job is to inform customers of this by email and WhatsApp to try to ensure that they do not encounter problems and choose a suitable time in which access is not cut off. We will continue to put all our efforts into improving this aspect. We have several types of extra amenities at the reception at the client's request so that in case something is missing you just have to ask for it, we are sorry that your stay has not been so comfortable but we hope that you have enjoyed our beautiful city and its wonderful Easter. This Hotel can’t be better located. Every mayor attraction is within few minutes walking. Staff was super friendly and helpful regarding dining subjections and itinerary. They have a restaurant and a tapa bar on the 0 floor which is super convenient. We ate one night in their restaurant Food was delicious.

The location is awesome. You are within a short walk of the Alhambra, you step out to eating places and bars and everything is within a short walk of this hotel. Make sure you print off their insructions including photographs if you are driving in, as it is complicated, and then getting into their car park is tight for bigger cars - but that's what you get if you want to stay in a city center. Their instructions are excellent. The rooms are clean, spacious and light. I didn't find the bed comfortable, it was rock hard - and because the whole lobby and stairways to the hotel are open and marble, you could hear anything from downstairs - but it wasn't too busy, so not too bad. They could really do with putting some USB chargers next to the beds. At the price we paid, and the location and ease of use - this is a great option for those who want city centre.…

This hotel was right in the center of everything which made it super convenient to explore places on foot. There were a ton of good restaurants nearby and I never noticed the noise at night maybe because I was so tired from exploring during the day. The only negative is that parking was extremely tight which made us not want to take day trips outside of the city since we didn’t want to go though the hassle of reparking the car. That said, I would definitely stay at this hotel next time I’m in Granada because of the location. The room itself was fine and had the typical toiletries provided and the staff was fine, too. We didn’t eat breakfast there so can’t comment on that.

We had a pleasant stay, it was close to the Alhambra. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, with A+ pillows! The staff were helpful and check-in/check-out was quick and painless. The breakfast buffet was good but 10 euros/person.

The hotel was in a great location well within walking distance of shops, public transport and sites. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful. The availability of a restaurant onsite was good although we tended to dine at local establishments.
