This hotel is a great value, and is located in a fun area of Granada, which is full of restaurants and shops. The room and hotel were very nice. In addition, the lady who checked us in was very patient and helpful with our Alhambra tickets.....when to show up, what gate to use (based on our ticket time), where to catch a taxi (becuz it's very hilly), etc. etc. We were so pleased with the help, since we had just come from Seville, where we had missed our Royal Apartments tour by minutes...becuz we couldn't find the right entrance. :(

Several leading guidebooks did not list this wonderful hotel. Their bad, because this is a hidden gem. In years of travel, I don't think I've encountered a friendlier, more helpful front desk. The flower-bedecked lobby is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and inviting. And the location in the historic old city is excellent. Visitors to this fascinating could not do better than Hotel Anacapri!

We khew we had stepped into a good hotel. Reception warm. The premises immaculate; the room , too. Maids smiling and the busy breakfast hostess taking a moment to teach a few words to our teen daughter. Discovering we were in the heart of Granada, we felt welcomed by the town. Ferdinand and Isabella sleep across the next callein the chapel. The old silk market and a lovely square a skip away. La Alhambra? Reception arranges a taxi. Hotel Anacapri, the sublime way to stay.

We arrived at the Hotel Anacapri for a two night stay as part of a tour group. Unfortunately, I became too ill to continue on the tour. I speak no Spanish, and would have had no idea how to proceed. Cathy, at the front desk, came to my rescue. She helped me extend my stay another night, suggested I be seen at a local hospital, drew me a map, got me a taxi, and explained how the local health system works. The hospital did a thorough evaluation and wrote me several prescriptions. Cathy helped me find a pharmacy to fill them. I am so grateful for all the kind and patient assistance she provided. Also excellent is Roberto, who worked the front desk in the evenings. The Anacapri is a very nice hotel - but the staff are truly five star!! I would live to return under better circumstances.

This is a fabulous little hotel right in the heart of everything! You step out the front entrance right into the hubbub! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful to ensure you have all the info you need for a perfect stay. Everywhere is impeccably clean & full of character & charm. The rooms are well sized with lovely bathrooms, air conditioning & the useful extras of kettle & fridge etc. The beds are extremely comfortable & paired with the Egyptian linen make for a wonderful nights sleep. The breakfast is buffet style & set in a comfortable lounge style room, with an adequate selection of breakfast options for a boutique hotel. I will definitely return!

This hotel is walkable to many beautiful churches, restaurants, and shops. Located in a good area with a taxi stand less than 3 blocks away. The staff at reception were fantastic answering questions and giving ideas of things to see. Wi-Fi is bit spotty which was disappointing. The rooms were basic and clean. We were out and about so much that it really didn’t matter. The rooms are moderately priced. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We took a taxi up to Alhambra and another viewing spot. We then walked down to the hotel in less than 20 minutes. This gave us an opportunity to explore more neighborhoods as well.

VERY small outdated rooms, VERY noisy. You can literally hear what the neighbours are up to. Reasonable, modernized bathrooms, though. Very friendly, helpful desk, breakfast: adequate, not exactly the most original in its variety ( or: quantity) This hotel is in the middle of Albaicin, so: lots of VERY noisy student groups, stag parties (when are we finally going to ban this phenomenon in Europe?) friends groups year round, out for cheap drinks, shouting and breaking glass outside all night. If you decide to book here, ask for a room at the back!

The location of the hotel is excellent and it was clean enough. Basically it met expectations in terms of what I had in mind but what really took me aback was the issue with drinking water. As it was a quad room and our family of 4 was staying for 2 nights, the 4 small bottles of water were considered complimentary only for the first night. When we asked for 4 more bottles the second night (my 8 year old went to the reception), I really thought he or the lady at the reception was joking that the bottles will be charged at Eur1.50 each especially when supermarkets / convenience stores were selling 1 litre bottles at Eur0.50 to 0.70. This was a real rip off when most hotels provide complimentary water for the few days of stay.

Dear customer, first of all thank you for your stay at the hotel. As for the 4 free water bottles on the first day, they were courtesy of the hotel, from then all extras must be paid by the clients. Your son was correctly informed that the second 4 water bottles would be charged to your bill. In Granada the tap water is completely drinkable. Thanks and best regards

Definately the best location in Granada. Some might say the hotel is a bit dated, but the facility was good enough, especially a renewed bathroom in our room was very clean and neat. A lovely lady at reception was very kind and so helpful. She made our Granada trip even more perfect. I'd absolutely select this hotel again.

I wish I could have stay in Granada longer, I had such an amazing time in the city and in Hotel Anacapri. I came from Malaga and took an early bus so I arrived a little early Into the city. Since I had a carry on and backpack I stopped by the hotel hopping they will let me drop off the bags and for my surprise a very nice lady told me I actually could leave it at the room, it was ready. I was so happy to hear that since it’s difficult to get to a hotel early and get room until your normal checking time. I walked to my room and it was small but practical with all the essentials you need. The bed was comfy and those pillows were AMAZING. I was also surprised of how huge was the bathroom, compare with standard Europeans bathroom that usually are small and old, this one was big and very modern. On my last day I booked thru orbits the continental breakfast which I am glad I did it. It was so good, nothing major but all you need to charge up your batteries before heading out. Hotel it’s on a very central place, the Granada cathedral and alambra was so close, you could walk everywhere from hotel to all the tourist places. I definitely recommend 100 % this hotel, don’t be fooled by the affordable price, this hotel it’s worth it.
