Detailed Reviews
Hotel was very modern, rooms were big and well equipped and very comfortable. We travelled with our dog, there was a cost of 20 euros for her but for this we had a big terrace which was great for her. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice, there is onsite parking at 15 euros per day and the hotel location is excellent, very close to the motorway but only 15 minutes walk to historic centre of Granada.
There was no duvet or blankets in the room, so had to have the heating on all night, which isn’t great for the environment or for a good night sleep. We really wanted to visit the spa but the pool was constantly full of screaming young children so it would not have been a relaxing experience, I would suggest making some hours per day adult only for the pool and then the spa would be more appealing. The hotel had lots of families with young children so restaurant areas were really noisy, again perhaps make some areas adult only to make it more of a relaxing experience for those travelling without kids

We stayed here for 3 nights while skiing in Sierra Nevada. The hotel is easy to get to (just off the ring road), is a few minutes drive to Nevada shopping centre and about a 25 minute walk to Granada city centre.
All staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a family room which had a bedroom and a sitting room with sofa bed. TVs were in both the bedroom and living room. Bathroom was large and modern. Tea and coffee and a kettle were in the room. We booked this hotel especially for the pool as an evening activity for the kids. Although my kids loved the pool (very small pool), it was cold water, I lasted not 5 minutes in there, they were in there ages! We did not use the restaurant so I can't comment on the food/breakfast. We used the parking facility which was about 15€ per day, staff at the hotel parked out car and brought it to us each morning. We would definatley use this hotel again and we would use the restaurant next time, we didn't use it as we left very early in the mornings and ate in the shopping centre at night.
Getting from the hotel to the Granada ring road in the morning (around 07:45), was very congested with traffic. There is a school next to hotel so there was a lot of school traffic, then a very congested roundabout. This is not a fault of the hotel but just something to bear in mind if you are wanting a quick get away. Also when leaving the ring road, getting off the slip road and onto the roundabout (to directly access the hotel), again was very congested. This bit of journey should gave taken about 1 minute, it took us 30mins on one day.

Dear Sonia, Thank you for the great review of our hotel! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again very soon. Only for your information, our indoor pool temperature is between 26ºC and 29ºC, with an automatic system. We can´t increase more due to the pool laws. More temperature is for Spa, and therefore it require anothers treatments as legionella, more chlorine... We await to see you again. Sincerely, Juan Manuel López Sercotel Gran Hotel Luna de Granada Manager

The hotel is near the highway and convenient to the city center and Alhambra. Public transportation and taxis are inexpensive and the hotel staff are very helpful in giving you advice in getting anywhere in the city. They have a goid breakfast buffet, pool, and exercise room.

Our tour group only stayed one night at this hotel - luckily. The walls are tissue thin-can hear everyone in the hall & other rooms. Unfortunately for me I was in a room by the spa entrance so I got to listen to all conversations and staff checking on customers until late in the evening. You have no control of the temperature in the room and it was extremely hot & stuffy. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the city center so it's doable but not overly convenient. There is very little storage space for clothes, etc if you don't want to live out of your luggage.
Amenities: WiFi was terrible. Refrigerator but filled w items to purchase. No hand/wash towel. No clock. Liquid soap bottle by sink; Shampoo bottle in shower; no soap provided. Hair dryer is on the wall far from the bathroom mirror so have to stretch it pretty far; weak & have to hold the button to keep it on.

This hotels ticks all the boxes, the hotel felt very new as thought it had been refurbished. The rooms were a generous size, the facilities are great, staff are very helpful, the hotel has a great variety of food including halal options. I loved the fact breakfast was untill 11am, which was great for the older kids who woke up a little late. I also lived the fact the pool was open till 10pm, after a long dat out, this meant we could have some relaxation time. The location is good, away from the hustle and bustle, the main hot spots such as Plaza Nueva is a 5 minutes taxi ride, 20 min walk or if you prefer public transport you can take a bus, the bus stop is a few minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a shopping mall accross the road, plenty of resturants near by including halal too! The staff were friendly and helpful.

We found this hotel clean, professional and friendly, offering great facilities for an enjoyable stay. King size room was generous with a fabulous bed and spacious bathroom, and a fridge in the room is always welcome in a hot climate!
There are plenty of places to eat, drink and relax. The hotel is very easy to access from the motorway, avoiding stressful drives through the city.
The Alhambra is a cheap taxi ride away (7 euros) and the beautiful historic district within walking distance. This won’t be the prettiest hotel you stay in but it is fab value for money and I would certainly stay there again.

The hotel is Situated right next to the motorway, but you cannot hear the traffic inside. The reception staff were very welcoming on arrival, spoke excellent English to against my poorish Spanish, and offered a deal on parking rates in the underground garage. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and maintenance is right up to date. There was some repainting work ongoing, but it was unobtrusive. Breakfast is good, with everything you might want from hot plates to cakes, cheese and meats, and cereals (except Muesli or Granola) and toast. Rooms are a good size, the beds are very comfortable, and the showers are hot and powerful. Views from the rooms vary according to which face you are on. Wifi is free and fast.

Lovely hotel which is very conveniently located for a quick entrance and exit to/ from the city from the Ring Road. It means you do not have to navigate around the traffic controlling Camera system in the inner city ! Whilst it is walkable to the historic centre of the City it does take 20 minutes each way and so a taxi back is recommended. Large Corte Ingles department store is very close to the hotel. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished and well equipped. Efficient and friendly staff in all areas.
