I agree with many of the postive reviews saying that this is a beautiful property but that's unfortunately the only thing I would agree with. We booked two twin rooms with two bathrooms (only one with shower) and living room. On arrival we were so disappointed to find the second bathroom was only a toilet and basin. To compound our...

A visit to Granada would not be complete without a stay at Casa del Aljarife. A delightful old Moorish abode in the atmospheric Albacin with romanic views of the amazing Alhambra. A real gem.

I found this hotel to have a very pretty room with a view of the alhambra and a clean large bathroom. The casa had a very spanish feel to it and was very comfortable. There was a nice courtyard and and free internet. They hotel is definitly a hike to get to, not for anyone who can not handle difficult...

Lots of great things about this hotel. We had a spacious beautifully appointed room with amazing views of the Alhambra from our windows. The central courtyard would be lovely in warmer months. The price is great for such a large and lovely room. The breakfast was generous and fresh. A computer with free internet is available in the foyer. It...

We had an amazing 2 night stay in this hotel. We had difficulty finding the hotel on our own but once we called the host Christian, he immediately found us and brought us to his quaint house in the Albaycin. The house is welcoming with large unique rooms. We had an amazing view of the Alahambra from our room and...

Overall, very quaint, comfortable and cozy B&B with a great breakfast. The propietor is very organized and helpful with recommendations and directions on getting around. After 10 days of traveling and staying in a variety of hotels/hostals throughout Europe, this was a perfect place to really rest in our room, before and after our Alhambra day. We stayed in room...

This hotel (really a bed and breakfast since there are only four rooms) is incredible. The nicest place we stayed in during our trip. Our room was huge and airy and best of all had a breathtaking view of the Alhambra. We might never have left the room. There is also a flower filled courtyard. It is in the Albacin,...

To really appreciate the true essence of Granada, you must stay in the Albacin. To enhance the experience even more, you couldn't ask for a better host than Christian! Yes, its a little convoluted to get there; park your car in the hospital car park across town for a few days (buy the weekly ticket in advance for 25E), catch...

Trev and I stayed at the Aljarife last week. Breakfast was both social and delicious. The bedroom was cute with its multi rooms and obvious history, fabulously in keeping with the historic and atmospheric Albacin. We were absolutely wowed though by the marvelous Christian who ensured that we started every day with laughter and ready for fun. Looking forward to...

Two members of my family had the misfortune of being ill while in Granada during late December 2006. Luckily, we were booked to stay in a large, lovely suite of rooms at the Casa del Aljarife for 2 days. As described in the e'mail confirmation that I had received from owner Christian Most, it was very tricky to find our...
