The Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a lovely little boutique hotel close to a busy tourist area (taxis & buses are just around the corner), but far enough away down a small alley that it's quiet and seems secluded. The rooms and the common areas are charming and full of character, and the service is friendly and wonderfully efficient. Feels...

The Hotel has a great location in the center of Granada to see its sights. The staff of the Hotel were extremely forthcoming in their service. The breakfast and afternoon teas were very enjoyable and relaxing. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is just off Plaza Neuva - the centre for visiting just about any of granada's attractions from the historic to the modern day shopping experience. The building is tucked away behind the Plaza and dates back to the 16th Century. Six years ago it was concerted into this hotel. However, originally it was a military house. Reception staff...

This quaint hotel located on a side street is stunning. The staff is friendly and helpful willing to give restaurant and site recommendations. The room was rather small but the decoration made up for it. Small problem with the A/C as it made a noise all through the night.

This hotel is in a great location for access to all the tourist highlights. The desk staff were wonderful an provided great advice. We had a room right off the 'indoor' patio area which was very convenient (great if you have any mobility issues) but a little noisy due to there being a service closet for the maids just outside...

I was very impressed with this hotel. They communicated with me prior to my visit and answered all of my questions promptly. From the minute we walked into the hotel, we were struck by it beauty and quaintness. The staff was friendly, helpful, and extremely hospitable. This was one of those times when you ask yourself, "Why didn't I stay...

2 nights stay in double room (Junior Suite). Beautiful room and bathroom, the hotel is wonderful with an amazing patio, the service is flawless at the reception (we also got Alhambra tickets for visit in 2 days) and the "afternoon breakfast" was an unexpected addition. Fair price. We'll return here if he come back to Granada.

It was a great experience to stay at Casa 1800. Free afternoon tea was awesome. There are 2 things were not quite ok for us. 1. We asked reception lady about dinner and flamingo dance place. She gave us an expensive French restaurant ( I don't understand we travel to Spain why French food ), The restaurant served very tiny...

A great hotel, located a few minutes from the Plaza Nueva which is where most tours start from and all the other areas of interest are easily reached. Be prepared for up hill walking and take good walking shoes!! Close to the Alhambra which is a definite must see if nothing else. The staff are extremely helpful and rooms comfortable....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a charming hotel located in a fully restored XVII century historical building, the building is known as Casa de los Migueletes and served as the headquarters of the militia at the time. The hotel is decorated with chandeliers, frescos, cupolas and luxurious furnishings, always in keeping with the noble wood of the building whilst highlighting the Classicist and Mudejar elements of the original house. The rooms are elegant and cozy, some enjoy views of the Alhambra, inner courtyards, coffered ceilings and offer all kinds of amenities. The House is organised around a central courtyard where each morning breakfast is served and in the afternoon tea is offered to the hotel guests, who are treated to a family atmosphere and making the stay special and unforgettable. The charming hotel has a privileged location in the centre of Granada between the magical Albaicin and at the foot of the Alhambra. Nearby there are museums, theatres, monuments, shops, restaurants and tapas bars. ... more   less
