This charming little hotel, secluded behind the alleys by popular Acera del Darro street, is a hidden gem (not so hidden anymore) for boutique hotel lovers. An old house turned into a hotel and still keeping the original structure. The rooms are cozy and charming, nice decor and most of them surrounding an interior patio where they serve complimentary tea,...

This is a really lovely hotel!. The rooms are very nicely furnished and very comfortable. The bathroom had a bath- a first for us on this trip to Spain. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was also great- a short walk up the hill to the Alhambra and also a 5-10 minute walk to the Gran Via,...

Had heard many comparisons between Seville and Granada, so having visited Seville in 2016 and loved it, Granada was a must do. This hotel was chosen for it's central location to all the main attractions, and it proved to be a winner! Prior to arrival, I received emails detailing travel arrangements from the airport and traffic restrictions within certain parts...

One of the highlights of the trip. Beautiful hotel with great service. Great location as well (easy to find, near the center and quiet at night) Not recommend standard room as the view is inside of the building.

LOCATION: Can’t be beat. You’re in the heart of what’s interesting, yet on a quiet back alley. Our taxi driver from the train station knew exactly where it was, and also made sure we knew how to walk the last little part on our own in the too-small-for-cars alleyways. Finding the hotel was not nearly as difficult as I’d feared....

Hotel Casa 1800 in Granada is just delightful, a beautifully decorated, boutique hotel in a central location within the old part of town. It is an old building with modern amenities. Exquisite ! The Alhambra is just there within walking distance. It is all very easy to navigate. We chose to eat breakfast at the hotel twice during our stay...

We asked for an Alhambra view when we booked and got it! What a delight to wake up to the grandeur of the flags flying above the Alhambra. This hotel was one of the highlights of our 2 month trip to Spain. We loved walking out the door to the charm of the old city of Granada.,Afternoon tea and an...

In Spain no matter the stars of the hotels, service can be a problem. I always thought that there was a need for training hotel staff. I have to say that this is one of those hotels that I have not found one staff member doing or saying anything wrong. From the front desk, Macarena, Jose and the others to...

Perfectly placed for a visit to Granada, this lovely hidden gem exudes old-world charm and service. Loved it, would recommend it to anyone who enjoys comfortable non-corporate hotels. Lovely staff and great recommendations for nearby restaurants too. And the afternoon tea was a real treat!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a charming hotel located in a fully restored XVII century historical building, the building is known as Casa de los Migueletes and served as the headquarters of the militia at the time. The hotel is decorated with chandeliers, frescos, cupolas and luxurious furnishings, always in keeping with the noble wood of the building whilst highlighting the Classicist and Mudejar elements of the original house. The rooms are elegant and cozy, some enjoy views of the Alhambra, inner courtyards, coffered ceilings and offer all kinds of amenities. The House is organised around a central courtyard where each morning breakfast is served and in the afternoon tea is offered to the hotel guests, who are treated to a family atmosphere and making the stay special and unforgettable.
