My daughter and I were only able to stay one night in this lovely hotel, but I wish we'd been able to stay longer. Pros: - Everything was clean, new and fresh in appearance, and functional. - The breakfast included in our booking had a nice variety of foods, more than I expected from such a small hotel. Everything was at a good temperature and tasty. - The location is on the way up the hill to the Alhambra! When I was in better shape, I could have taken this walk easily, but it was very good exercise for me even though challenging in my current condition. I liked that we did not have to take a bus or other transportation to get from the hotel to the Alhambra. We had bought tickets for a night visit to the Nasrid Palaces, which included a visit the following day. Both times we could just walk out the front door of the hotel and directly up to the Alhambra! - The location also was within easy walking distance to the cathedral, shops, & restaurants (down the hill.) - Our lovely modern room included a "Japanese-style" toilet. - The room was not large, but even so, it contained a safe, plenty of space for clothing/luggage and also a small table, fridge, and chairs. So after our night Alhambra visit, when we brought back some take-out food for a midnight supper, we had a place to eat it. - When we first arrived at the hotel, we enjoyed a meal at the rooftop bar/restaurant, with a lovely view of the Alhambra. Everything was quite tasty, & our waiter was patient with our poor Spanish abilities. Then when it started to sprinkle, he immediately set up a new table for us that was under a roof, so we could continue enjoying our meal while out of the rain. - The rooftop bar accepted Diners Club, so we were able to avoid a currency conversion fee charged by my other credit cards. - Our room was able to accommodate an extra twin bed. I don't remember now how I arranged with the hotel to have this extra bed, but because I was traveling with my daughter rather than with a romantic partner, we both appreciated being able to sleep in separate beds. - The staff we interacted with were all wonderful! Friendly and helpful! The front desk ladies kindly gave us directions to stores, lots of info on the area, and called a taxi for us when we were ready to leave. - For a small hotel, they really thought of everything, and they even had a handy stand of umbrellas to borrow if needed. We did not stay long enough to try out the gym or library this time, but it's nice that they are there. Cons? - Our shower was nice looking, but it had transparent walls, and was not in a separate bathroom. There was an opaque design covering the part of the shower where one's private body parts would be, but it might be awkward to use if one were staying with friends. (It could be nice with a romantic partner, though!) - The location might not be ideal for those with mobility issues. My recommendation in that case would be to look for a place down the hill where it's a bit flatter, and then take the bus or a taxi up to the Alhambra rather than walk. - Also, not a problem for us, but note not all rooms have street or Alhambra views. Ours looked out onto a wall, but it was a beautiful wall, and we were there to visit the Alhambra, not to sit in our room looking out the window anyhow. So, if you do want a real view, book a room with a view. - The beds were slightly firmer than my preference.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here in 2018, and whilst it was basic, it was clean, good value and extremely convenient for the Alhambra and city, so we decided to stay again. We were completely unprepared for the beautiful overhaul and extension the hotel has under gone since our last visit. The hotel is modern and stylish. Our room was also modern, stylish, comfortable, spacious and air conditioned. We took an upgrade for a little under €8, which was well worth it just for the experience of the Japanese toilet! The hotel has a roof terrace restaurant which we enjoyed delicious local food. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. All of the above does not reflect the cost which in my opinion is beyond excellent value for money! We will certainly be back again just as soon as we are able to return to Granada!

Brilliant location just under Alhambra, and close to all the restaurants near Place Nova and the river. Walked everywhere, staff very helpful. Breakfast service was poor, but it was also inexpensive- so you get what you pay for I guess.

The Hotel in centrally located and has a nice rooftop patio. Our stay met all the important details such as clean room, comfortable bed, professional staff and close proximity to all major attractions. I did have a couple of disappointments. First, we upgraded to a patio room so we could relax with our travel companions at the end of the day. While sitting outside water came out of the downspouts onto the patio with an awful odor. Apparently they were watering the flowers on the rooftop patio. If I would have know this I would have saved the upcharge for the patio and taken a standard room. Secondly, we ate at the rooftop patio, the atmosphere is excellent for drinks and apps, however, my meal was disappointing and overpriced. In a town with many excellent restaurants within walking distance, this hotel needs to improve with its quality of food and food preparation. That being said, the bar, the drinks and the view is something they have an monopoly on and well worth the experience.

Dear valued guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at our boutique hotel. We appreciate your kind words about our central location and our rooftop patio. We're glad to hear that you found our rooms clean, beds comfortable, and staff professional. However, we apologize for the disappointments you experienced during your visit. We regret that the water from the downspouts on the rooftop patio caused an unpleasant odor during your time there. We understand how this could have affected your relaxation and enjoyment, especially after upgrading to a patio room. During his stay, it had not rained for a long time in Granada and when it is going to rain, and because of the drop in pressure, the pipes usually smell like what we call darro. But it is a smell that goes away quickly. Furthermore, we apologize for the disappointment you had with your meal on the rooftop patio. We strive to provide a memorable dining experience for our guests, and we regret that we fell short of your expectations. Your feedback regarding the quality of our food and food preparation is valuable to us, and we will work diligently to improve in these areas. We also appreciate your suggestion to explore the local dining options within walking distance, as we understand the importance of catering to varied culinary preferences. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our bar, drinks, and the stunning view from our rooftop patio. We take pride in providing a unique experience for our guests, and we are grateful that you found these aspects to be memorable. Once again, we appreciate your feedback, as it helps us enhance our guests' experiences. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with an improved stay. Warm regards,

Great hotel in excellent location! We loved this hotel, our room was on the 1st floor facing the Cuesta de Gomérez. Room had small balcony overlooking the street and when the balcony doors were closed there was no noise from the street below. Room temperature was perfect, bed was very comfortable, shower and products all to a high standard. Lovely roof-top bar/restaurant with view of the Alhambra where we had a pre-dinner drink each evening - we choose not to eat there as there are lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Breakfast was also very good.

We loved everything about this hotel, from the service, to the rooms, to the restaurant. We enjoyed two nights in an Alhambra facing room with a modern bathroom. Both had everything we needed and included a Juliette balcony which was lovely. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the restaurant sitting outside on the terrace enjoying a bottle of wine and fabulous food. The hotel also lined up an amazing guide for the Alhambra. The fact that this hotel is so close to the Alhambra is a great plus. It is an uphill climb (but downhill on the way back :) but worth the steps. I highly recommend this hotel!

Travelled with friends so had 2 different rooms. Both at back of building so nice and quiet as way from street noise. Friend’s room was in the newer section, was very nicely renovated and had a courtyard, Mine was in the original hotel and looked over a patio. My fridge was on but didn’t seem to make anything cold despite fiddling with the dials. Rooms had kettles and tea/coffee and toiletry supplies such a shower caps. Great view of The Alhambra from rooftop bar. Good central location but up a hill if that’s a problem for people with mobility issues. Staff, especially Rosario were extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel in Great Location. Quiet yet close to everything you could hope for and very central. The room was a good size and overlooked the terrace at the back of the hotel. The terrace could have been made a bit more attractive, but in reality you don't go to Granada to stay in your hotel! The breakfast was really good value for money with a lot of choice. The staff couldn't have been more helpful from beginning to end. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
