It's ok for short stay . Will take you about 20 min to walk to old town , where there are a variety of eating places and shops. The area around the hotel is more of residential .the room we had , faced a odd looking tiled area . It could have been landscaped.

Lobby is standard. Walking off the elevator you feel like a step back into the early 90s. Rooms are standard for southern Spain. Bathrooms were actually quite nice but mattresses were older. Breakfast was better than average. Pretty good location with short distance to Alhambra and many meeting/dining sites. Only stayed for one night, and I would use it again...

We picked this hotel as it seemed to be one of the very few in Granada that offered secure car parking. There is an extra charge of 15 euros a day for this but well worth it. The location is reasonably convenient, you can get a bus to the Alhambra from the old town, about a 10 minute walk from...

I enjoyed staying at this hotel for 5 nights during a conference. 20 minutes walk to Alhambra, close to bus stations. Breakfast-excellent. A wide variety of choices. I would have enjoyed to have also tomatoes and/or cucumbers. Nice rooms: perfect colours, wide beds.

The Alhamar is a hotel it is very hard to get excited about - and I did not! The drab exterior belies the dull, basic and ultimately dissapointing interior. The rooms are bland and even from the 5th floor I could hear people talking in the street. The bed was firm but I could feel the springs creek - not...

Stayed here for one night with a group of friends for Halloween. Very comfortable. Good size rooms - One twin and one triple next to each other. Clean and friendly. We also used the hotel car park for 15€ for the night.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our way through to Marbella, the hotel has an art deco feel. The WiFi was poor, the rooms were not clean, we could not get additional pillows for the bed and the staff were not helpful. The buffet was adequate

Stayed here for two nights. Arrived in the afternoon, and had a quick check in. The staff friendly and helpful. My room was clean, but rather dingy looking, but the bed was comfortable. Loads of little stores around the area, but I felt that the area around the hotel was not the best part of town. The hotel has a...

its not in a great part of town, but if you can find a cheap deal it's sort of worth it if youre on a budget ...dark rooms with no views, windowless bathrooms, but spacious and clean. Its not within walking distance of the Alhambra, dont believe it of they say it is!... wifi is only in the lobby. limited...
