The only cons I can think of about this place is that the location isn't great. Mind you, I'm not sure how nice the couple of other hostels are that were closer. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk to most of the big sites in the centre...not THAT bad but it was freaking hot in Seville and doing that...

My wife and I stayed at Hostel One Sevilla Alameda for a few nights during our honeymoon in November 2011. The moment we walked in the door, we were both pleased at how friendly and welcoming the staff was. The architecture is typical Andalusian, so it makes you feel like you are truly in Spain. This property is located in...

My friends and I stayed in Seville for 4 nights in May this year. For the first two nights we stayed in two double rooms that had one toilet each. For the next two nights, we stayed in a quad room with one toilet (as there were no double rooms available). While the double rooms were more convenient as there...

Me and my friends were in Spain only for a few days. Since we're coming back to the hostel after 2 days, they let us put our luggage in their store room without payment. We paid for one room without bathroom, but to our delight, got room with bathroom instead! The staffs were very friendly. Cooked dinner and breakfast ourselves...

Ariel & Betty were lovely hosts. A little expensive for the size of the private double room but a great place nonetheless.

I stayed a few nights at Hostel One Sevilla last year in june and it was great. Clean dorms, ensuite bathrooms, guest kitchen, free internet, pretty building in a quiet street. The aircon in the dorms was a blessing with 37°C daytime and not much less at nighttime. We had some problem with the aircon leaking in our dorm and...

VERY friendly staff, one of the girls from the hostel took us to a flamenco show... it was cool, but there was a big cockroach in our bedroom, that was so disgusting!

A beautiful and affordable hostel centrally located near the aquarium and El Corte Ingles. A bit drafty in the winter, but they have good heaters. Would have liked it more if they had activities on offer other than bar crawls (which isn't hard to do in Seville, with tapas bars in every corner filled with locals to the wee hours...

Ariel was super friendly and helpful. He organized a flamenco show night, although we arrived too late for the show, it was nice hanging out and meeting other travelers. The location was good, but the area was deserted at night...not great for walking home after dinner or later on in the evening. We didn't use the kitchen so I can't...

The staff was so gentle even the girl took us to a flamenco show one night. Very good internet service, but we saw a dirty cockroach in our bathroom and that ruined us the night. So gross!!

“Rooms away from the street (even if it is a quiet sidestreet) will be quieter as the nightlife runs late in Andalucia and there a few bars nearby.”

“Choose this hotel because the rates are lower than other hostels in the Santa Cruz neighborhood. Hostel One Sevilla Alameda is located only a few minutes walk away from all the popular places. If you enjoy historical art and paintings, be sure to visit Museo Bellas Artes (Museum of Fine Arts) which is located very close to this hostel.”
