Beautifully restored old palace in the heart of Seville’s old town. Very close to the old city and Barrio Santa Cruz and within walking distance of everything but in a most serene setting. The plunging pool is very small but provides nice respite from the hot Seville afternoon and the outdoor terrace and indoor palace courtyard are calm and cool...

I stayed at the Villapanes Hotel in Seville in September. This hotel had great reviews and looked wonderful online however for the price and star-rating, I wasn’t really impressed. The hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk from the Cathedral. There aren’t really any restaurants or shops nearby, those are also about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. The...

This was my first trip to Seville and I was truly torn by the quality of hotels on offer despite my extensive research. The Alma Sevilla, correctly named The Hotel Palacio de Villapanes came out on top for me as a 5 star luxury hotel in an 18th century palace, and combines the old world Seville in a modern and...

To stay here just for the architecture and design it is enough. The hotel has a very special courtyard with Andaulusian design and a spectacular library. The room it self is wonderful with state of the art bathroom. The breakfast was the best we had in Spain with lots of variety. The staff was very nice and helpful when we...

Beautiful hotel in restored palace in Sevilla. Quiet location, but a bit of a walk from the cathedral and alcazar. The walk is certainly doable. We had a room on the central courtyard. The second day of our stay the manager informed us that there would be a dinner party in the courtyard outside of our room which would last...

We arrived here by car with a combination of the Hotel instructions (we were coming from Ronda, which was not covered explicitly on the hotel driving instructions - a suggestion to the Hotel to include please?),an iPhone sat nav app and Google maps - initially we didn't even see it but the hotel opposite instead! So yes it can be...

Having stayed at the AlmaSevilla last year, when we decided to return to Seville for a few days this year we had no hesitation in returning. For us the hotel is a peaceful oasis within the city and we love the relatively short walk through the streets to the Cathedral and the Alcazar. Super friendly staff, lovely rooms and a...

A gorgeous, tranquil and luxurious hotel that manages to perfectly combine a laid back and friendly atmosphere with high end service and facilities. Staff were helpful and informative, the valet and luggage service were seamless. The roof terrace offers wonderful views and the opportunity to relax and top up your tan after a hard days sightseeing. The first floor courtyard...

We stayed there one night in August and we were sorry we didn't stay longer. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood so it's a little hard to find. When you find it you will not be disappointed. It's immaculate and the staff is wonderful! The manager is so nice and helpful. The rooms are not big but there are...
