LOVED THIS HOTEL, it’s beautiful with so much character! The location is in the heart of the city centre and makes walking everywhere so easy. The staff is friendly, helpful, accommodating and speak perfect English. Our room was beautiful and the little hot tub on the balcony was excellent, there’s a rooftop pool with a view as well. Highly recommend!!
You can't beat the location, steps away from the Alcazar and Cathedral. The staff gave us excellent recommendations for dining and Flamenco. One downer was breakfast, a meager buffet offering in a cramped area. For the room price it should have been much better.
This is a beautiful hotel in the Cathedral area of the city and is walking distance to all the important sights. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was quite small but had everything we needed and was extremely clean and comfortable. There are lots of bars and restaurants very close by but due to the number of tourists, these can get very busy at peak times. Our only slight criticism was the breakfast where things like scrambled eggs were not served to order and could get quite hard and congealed. However, generally, a lovely place to stay.
Perfect spot for first time visitors to Seville. It was right in the heart of everything and we were able to walk everywhere. It is in a particularly touristy area in terms of the restaurants within a couple minutes, so I would recommend venturing a little further to find some local gems. Hotel itself is really nicely designed, beautiful atrium in the middle where you can have your breakfast or tea / coffee throughout the day. Our room was a great size, with comfortable beds and effective air con (necessary when it's 36 celsius at 10pm!). I found it hard to tell what the pool area was like from the pictures. The pool itself is small, and probably not ideal if you have kids who want to jump lots and splash about - more oversized plunge pool size. But perfect for a dip to cool off on a hot day (not going to get your lengths in!). The area immediately around the pool is small too, however, there are a few different decks on the rooftop with sun loungers / day beds so you can lie in the sun. We visited in August and the hotel did seem busy, but we never didn't get a sun lounger and we went to the pool at various times of day throughout our stay. The staff are nice, but not standout amazing. I wouldn't say they "go above and beyond", but interactions were all perfectly pleasant. They have brochures in the room for massages, and these are in-room massages, which was wonderful and also recommend!…
The hotel staff was really great, very helpful and friendly. They assisted in making reservations for us, changing reservations and making great suggestions for things to do beyond the going to the many historic sites. The hotel was very nice and located in the heart of most of the top sites of Sevilla, all just a short walk away.
This is a wonderful hotel in every way. The location is in the Santa Cruz area and while it is rather touristy it is also very fun and lively. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of Cava upon our arrival. The weather during our stay was very hot so we really appreciated the rooftop pool. It was a perfect way to cool down. We like highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious. It was clean with a great bed and shower. The hotel is in the heart of where you want to be. It is a several minute walk to the cathedral and Alcazar and about 15-20 minutes to the Plaza de Espana. There are many, many great places for Tapas and finer dining. I would suggest walking away from the hotel for tapas as those locations are a little more touristy.
The location of this hotel is fabulous. It is easy walking distance to all Sevilla sites and attractions. The staff are fantastic and really care about ensuring a great guest experience. We had a challenge with one of our guides that was booked through a third party, and the hotel staff didn't hesitate to help us find another guide. We would definitely stay here again during our next visit to Sevilla.
From the moment we stepped into the Hotel it felt special. The attentive reception staff, the decor and the ambience of the hotel is just perfect. We had rooms 201 and 209, and both were fitted out tastefully and luxuriously. Room 209 is the hotel’s top suite which had a stairway to a terrace and jacuzzi. It was a real nice touch and a great way to spend a few hours in the sunshine. Breakfast and afternoon tea are taken in a lounge with plentiful choice of pastries, fruit, breads, etc and Nespresso coffee. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, would recommend to anyone as the location is perfect.
We have just returned from a 1 week stay at Hotel Casa 1800. From our arrival to our departure we have loved our stay. The hotel is in an excellent location, it is within a minutes walk of the Cathedral and Real Alcazar. The facilities at the hotel are fantastic, the rooftop pool is a bonus for a city centre hotel. Towels are provided at the reception for the pool. Afternoon tea was greatly appreciated and very much un-expected and bottles of water were available at the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. Thank you to the Hotel Casa 1800 for a fabulous holiday.
