Overall very nice hotel. Was here for two nights through my Cosmo Tour of Spain/Portugal/Morocco. Got a single room and it was extremely spacious, layout was a little foyer, than door to bedroom and door to bathroom. Room was very clean and bathroom was quite luxurious. My room was located in the back and sorta hard to find, numbering convention...

After staying in three "regular" hotels over the previous week, it was nice to see the distinctive decor, with Moorish tones, in the lobby and ground floor of the Tryp Macarena. This was indeed a "Spanish" hotel ! The girl at reception spoke English quite well and was helpful in guiding us about what to see and do. The rooms...

We have visited Seville twice and stayed at the hotel on both occasions. Well situated outside of the city centre right facing city walls and the Basillica Macarena, this part of the city doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. It isn't particularly touristy but will give you a sense of the real Seville. The Avenue de l'Hercules, about a...

this was a great hotel to see sevilla. it was abit far from downtown. the bus stop was few steps away, however we did not know how to use it. u could pay the driver directly, but we lived on taxis here, 4-6 euro to train station, or plaza neuva (downtown). hotel was clean and good. trafalgar tour people come...

We chose this hotel although it is not in the old town. The junior suite was well furnished, clean and welcoming. Being on the 1st floor a bit noisy when you kept the window open. Service is fast and attentive. We had the safe not functioning and after a phone call to reception the technician was knocking at the door...

I booked this hotel as I managed to find a really good deal for 5 nights, working out cheaper than a shared room in a Seville hostel - especially for somewhere with a pool. The room was in a bit of an odd place, down corridor after corridor, adn round a corner near the service lifts. However this didnt result...

We stayed here for one night. Our initial impression was good because the hotel is bustling, modern and receptionist was welcoming and informative - probably their best employee. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the front with a view of the walls of the old town - this is also on the ringroad which was very noisy and...

I paid 10 Euro/day for the internet which was extremely slow, and essentially useless. The location is not very good, there are better for a lower price.

I chose the Tryp Macarena because it was a converted palace and there were rave reviews about a gorgeous roof-top pool. It was a horrible experience and I couldn't wait to leave. The main guy (bald) at the front desk pretends he doesn't speak English and only did after I got mad that the paid Internet didn't work and he...

We stayed here for a long weekend and found the hotel (especially the pool) great. Conveniently located with bus right outside. The breakfast is also highly recommended.
