Stayed here for 1 night in mid August 2008
The reception staff were very friendly and courteous, and spoke fluent English, the room was sufficient for it purpose, but given its “compact” size is probably only good as a base for a few days.
I stayed in the Hotel Alcantara with my partner, and also our family in 3 rooms. All of the rooms were of high quality as they were all clean and quiet. The air conditioning worked well, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms good....More
If good value for money is a vital thing, try the Alcantara in Barrio Santa Cruz in Seville. We stayed there for three nights in August and are very pleased with the hotel, the staff, their friendly approach and of course the location. In the...More
Hotel Alcantara worked out very well for us, a family of four. The room we had was ample for all four of us, had a nice bathroom and minifridge, and internet. The biggest plus is the location, being in the Barrio Santa Cruz in the...More

Hi Andrea, Sorry for the late reply. We did have breakfast, paid extra for the ease of eating then getting organised to head out for the day rather than leaving hotel for breakfast. Bread, cheese, cold meat, egg, yogurt, fruit juice, cereal, coffee tea and cake/biscuits - all self serve in foyers/reception area, outside courtyard seating in hotter weather. Presented simply but sustainable none the less. Not rushed, plenty time to plan day ahead with lots of coffee top ups :)
