This was a halfway stop on our hike. Day 1 Olvera to Coripe 22 km. Spectacular scenery and easy terrain for walking. Too many cyclists use this mountain route as a training piste rather than scenic tourism. Hotel Estacion Coripe is small, simple and family run. Owners are very attentive and helpful. Hotel and rooms clean,fresh and well looked after....

Stopped here for one night while i hiked the via verde. Arrived in the evening after having walked from puerto serrano. A friday. The station was not very crowded like it was the next day. I was received warmly by maria and eugenio. The room was nice. It was cold though, but not unbearable. I had wifi in my room...

This former railway station building on the "Via Verde" is a nice country inn with rooms. Perfect location to relax and eat and drink a few things at very reasonable prices. Make a walk along the Via Verde which was a planned railway line which never made it to its inauguration. Pass through some of the short tunnels and enjoy...

Juan Ramon has created a paradise in the mountains. The former Coripe train station has been converted to a small hotel/restaurant/event center that caters to many activities such as biking and hiking.
