The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the monuments and within walking distance to the bars and restaurants, yet not too close to hear them at night. Nice old building with modern facilities inside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Catalonia El Pilar. Our room was pristinely clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a nice view of square in front of the hotel. The staff were professional, courteous and helpful. The breakfast offerings are delicious and are most certainly worth the price. I thought the location was perfect--close to all the major sites, yet...

We were pretty disappointed in this hotel. No parking, no gym, no pool. We got stuck in the parking garage on the way out the next day. Super annoying since the hotel made a big deal about the special rate at the garage. At 15 euros a night it wasn't that good a deal on top of it. Our AC...

Located just three blocks from the Plaza del Pilar and ahead of the Plaza del Justicia, it's hard to think about a better place to stay at Zaragoza. The hotel has a mix of classical and modern decoration, with spacious room and bathroom, wi-fi, A/C, fridge and safe box. Breakfast with options of breads, cakes, fruits, eggs, hams, cheeses, yogurts...

The Superior Room upgrade was well worth the investment. The quick and professional service harkened back to the age when the customer was king! The hotel itself was an historic attraction in its own right-do not miss walking down and seeing the 19th century elevator which is repurposed as a phone booth!

A great Catalonia hotel in an excellent location in the old part of town. Very friendly staff and easy parking in a nearby public garage. Even though we closed both doors in our room we could hear the cleaners slamming other doors and walking noisily in the corridors which destroys the morning sleep. The room was nicely laid out but...

Spotless, comfortable room in a hotel with charm and a responsive staff. Easy walk to the basilica and cathedral, as well as multiple restaurants. Breakfast buffet was very good... even gluten-free baked items. Glad we made time to visit Zaragoza, and glad we picked the Catalonia El Pilar.

We stayed just one night but loved it. The hotel is Quiet and has recently been modernized. It is in a central location in the old part of the city. It is perfect for site seeing or just a visit. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant There are so many great bars and restaurants in the immediate area....

Well located and convenient to shops, El Pilar Basilica, and most of the site's of the city. Very nice staff. Close to public parking which is discounted by the hotel. Our room was large, well played out with a gorgeous double balcony. The bathroom had a large bath/shower, plenty of room, clean and modern. I can't imagine wanting to stay...

Beautiful hotel in a well appointed, grand historic building just minutes from the major attractions in Zaragoza. Rooms are spacious, well kept and new, but with keeping with characteristic old world charm. Special thanks to Diego for his hospitality:) We'll be back!
