A very good hotel, located in the centre of the city. You can reach the places of interest in short time. The receptionists were kind. The room was quite big and cleaned. I absolutely recommend it, for the price, too. We payed little and the quality was so good.

Stayed at Hotel Nuevo Maza in Plaza Espana for 4 nights - the hotel is well located in central Zaragoza for sightseeing and business purposes. Public transport connections are great with bus and tram links just out the front of the hotel and all the city centre is walkable from the hotel. Across the road you have El Tubo and... More

We recently stayed at the Hotel Maza for 3 nights in early May - took a taxi from the airport - 25 euros. Reception staff prompt and helpful, room clean, comfortable bed and shower worked well - no view but for the price it was excellent. We were on the 6th floor and it was very quiet Breakfast was basic... More

I came here for the wedding of my Spanish friends Pablo and Bea who were getting married in the cathedral next to the impressive basilica. The hotel is squeezed into the corner of the very central Plaza Espana and is within walking distance of the main attractions. The staff were all friendly and helpful without exception, though English for many... More

We were very pleased with this hotel, the location was fantastic and the unlimited bottled water is a must to rehydrate after hitting the town. The only thing that bothered us was it was very loud in the morning near our room, not sure if the maids are was nearby but every morning we could hear a lot of banging... More

This hotel is a really nice two star hotel. We were lucky enough to get one of the two top floor rooms which had a balcony overlooking the Plaza. A potential security problem at night if you were to leave the balcony door open because of the low wall between the two rooms, but it does get so hot at... More

It is located in plaza de Espania in the middle of city. The rooms are nice and clean. We got a room in last floor with balcony. The staff were nice. The breakfast is buffet but the same every day. Not so much to choose but ok.

“Apparently some of the rooms have good views of the Plaza (mine just backed on to a fire-escape), so see if you get one of those. I got a double room for the price of a single and only paid 39 Euro a night.”
