Came to see Oviedo and Romanesque churches, ended up enjoying our hotel as much as the tourist attractions. Located out of town, but with GPS and excellent road signage, found the hotel with no problem. Two weddings happening as we arrived, so a bit challenging for parking, etc. Stayed for two nights, very calm the second day. Rooms comfortable, food...

As indicated by others on TA, this is a first rate hotel a bit outside of Oviedo. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were traveling thru in late September and stayed one evening. We ate in the hotel and we stayed with the small plates, very good. The hotel was not busy so we enjoyed conversation with the server,...

This hotel lives up to its five-star rating in every posible way. The location, cleanliness and the haute cuisine food make it second to none. The spa is quite small but extremely well organised and onlyl a certain number of people are allowed access at any one time, making it perfect. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located in wonderful grounds, and an easy 10 minute drive to the centre of town. The rooms are specious, well appointed and have some of the most comfortable beds ever. Be warned, the swimming pool is part of their spa complex and hotel guests have to pay Euro15 to use the pool!

I choose to change my previous booking to this one: it was worth it! Set on the hills surrounded by forests and parks, but within 15 min from Oviedo, this refurbished Spanish Castle has a magnificent presence. It simply doesn't feel a hotel - it has that magic touch of design and cosiness while elegant and sophisticated. Personnel are extremely...

We booked one night in a duplex room for 3 persons. The castle and the first and situation is just beautiful, calm, quiet. Staff is very friendly. All decoration in the entrance plus bar plus salon is very nice and well chosen. All nice pieces. The room are quite dark in second floor but bathroom, beds safe everything is really...

we can´t wait for to came back!! The setting is wonderful -- an oasis in the forest. The staff could not have been more accommodating, breakfast was lovely, and the bar very homey. We all so enjoyed our stay!

We recently spent an afternoon enjoying the spa they have in the basement. The equipment is brand new and goes from a jacuzzi to a Turkish bath. During the 90 minutes we spent in the pool and IR seats we were alone, and it made for a very quiet and pleasant experience.

Stayed in October 2014. Midweek price was excellent. Room was fantastic, hotel was beautiful, bed was comfortable, bathroom products were quality, and the included breakfast was far more than expected. Service was good, but didn't really ask for much during the short stay. Overall, definitely a special experience - will absolutely stay for longer the next time.

The place was almost deserted and we didn't feel welcome. The staff was understandably minimal and the receptionist at the front desk. was clearly used to chatting on the phone and doing homework. She helped us but with very little initiative. We asked about the spa but it was closed. What looked like a swimming pool was some sort of...
