A nice little place with neat compact rooms, ideal for a stop over 30 minute walk to the centre or catch the bus C2 just outside the hotel excellent staff, English speaking and very helpful. Underground parking at 7 € per day a bit tight but worth the safety. The town centre great for shopping but not for historical building.... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in mid-November 2014 whilst we visited our son who is at the university doing language study. The hotel is a standard tourist-level place with about 5 rooms on each floor. There are two lifts serving reception both up to the different floors and down to the basement garage levels. The hotel... More

When I was booking the hotel in this small city I chose that because of price/quality. This hotel is at 20 minutes walk far from the bus station in a city suburb but well localized. It have a very modernist facade (very different from the other buildings) and the interior had a very minimalist decoration based on white and black... More

We needed to spend one night in Oviedo. No dought that this was a great choice. Staff is super. The area is good but not in the city center. Rooms we're as shown on photos and are very clean. Finding the place was also easier then expected.

We spent one night in this hotel. We had a small problem with our room that was rectified immediately by the very helpful reception staff. The city centre is quite a walk - about 20 mins to the main historic centre. A good choice for those looking for quality accommodation at a fair price.

The rooms are in an excellent condition, everything's new and very clean. The beds are very comfortable and the atmosphere is silent so the quality of your resting is going to be great. It's bit far from the city centre but still you can get there walking easily (30 minutes max.). The price is reasonable for the quality they offer.... More

Hotel was modern and clean, and did an good breakfast. We'd lost the map of how to get there, so navigated via signposts to the St Julian de los Prados church, which is supposed to be a few meters away. The 16 year old & I got out of the car to find the hotel - that took about half... More

It’s a rather modern hotel. The room is well decorated and clean. The bathroom is especially spacious and clean. Good shower. The location: the hotel is not in the centre – takes us about 15-20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Cathedral in the centre. The advantage of this hotel for us is it offers an onsite parking... My husband and my parents stayed at the Hotel Castro Real for 2 nights, and really enjoyed our stay. It exemplified the hospitality we saw everywhere in Oviedo. We drove into town from Madrid, and immediately became lost (rainy day, bad map, lousy navigation, etc). When we stopped at a cafe to ask directions, one of the workers (or customers)... More

“We were on the first floor, so perhaps could be a bit noisier with night-time traffic and a window open, than, perhaps staying on higher floors. But we were handy for reception, breakfast and the parking basement.”
